Persona 5 |OT2| Someone must have been helping you go to bed early. Talk!

Palace 6 question:
Do I still get the same benefit of a ton of free time after stealing Sae's treasure like previous palaces or should I wait till the final day to steal it? Just want to make sure stealing early won't make time move forward to the deadline.

Yes, don't worry. They stick to formula till the end.

Game forces you to wait til the deadline for that one anyway

dont have the curry yet, nope. Still at rank 2 even though I have others at like rank 7. I feel like I'm missing something with him
Dunmo if this is true but here a little guide that kinda tell what to do with him: http://www.gamersheroes.com/game-guides/persona-5-confidant-guide-sojiro/

When is the curry unlocked? I've had to spend 2 nights with him without a rank up and I don't know if the next time I speak to him will rank it up even then. (9/3 here)
Curry unlock at rank 4

this is going to be delicious and expensive lol.

I've abandoned my NG+ playthrough because holy shit it is not fun skipping through so many scenes and blasting through dungeons just to see a few scenes I missed. Sorry missed confidant ranks, I'll save you for the inevitable rerelease. Instead I'm going to attempt a P3FES full S. Link run and probably fail horribly!

Also I watched the harem consequences scene on youtube and now regret not doing it lol. Much more entertaining then watching anime girls profess their love to you. Though I must say that Kawakami's V-day scene dialogue was
unquestionably the most explicit, god damn wew.
So I don't regret that choice at all at least.

I have to say that the dialogue options for the romance/friendship routes are awful. Like, take Tae's:
I just wanted to see you / I just wanted help for my entrance exams.

If you don't have any intentions to romance her, the option is just awful. Like, as superficial as it can be. Couldn't they give 3 options and mark in red the romance one?

After what the MC and his Confidants go through, such cold responses seem totally out of place to me.

61 hours in and I'm enjoying it so far. Currently between Palace 4 and 5 and looks like the next target will be
Haru's father
. I think I'm moving at a slower pace than most people but this is what happens when I get too engrossed with a game.

Your lie in April.

The lie that brought them together.

So being not really familiar with Japan are there actually shops and escort services based around maid outfits? Like, is that a big fetish in Japan or something?
Wouldn't surprise me at all. Maid cafes are pretty common in Akihabara and probably scattered all over the place, I went to a maid cafe (and a butler cafe) and it was an experience lol. Japan is just really big on cute. Dunno about escort stuff, specifically, but it most likely exists.

Holy. Shit.

So even after Max Rank Temperance you still can't go out after beating the boss? I don't see the option for a
massage
and I can't reach the phone since I'm upstairs.

Why did I bother rushing this Confidant?
Speeking of Temperance, one very stupid question:
how do you make her cook or wash things up? I've unlocked the skills, but no idea how to trigger them...

There's the rest of Japan, and then there's Akihabara.

Don't conflate the two otherwise you're be wondering "This isn't like my Japanese Anime!" if you ever visit.

Hell yeah. I went full harem route (all girls obtained) and that scene killed me. Totally burst out laughing.

All of you boring 'only one true love' people are missing out.

Saved right before The Very Definitely Final Boss.

I already got fooled once by The Not Actually Final Boss.

Gonna beat the game tomorrow, most likely.

Also, I wanted to respond to this post in the previous thread (but I can no longer do a proper quote because the thread is locked):

I mean, I guess it's rehabilitation for the actions that got him sent here in the first place, but as they're clearly 110% justified actions I'm still not seeing why his whole Velvet Room experience is shaped around the idea of being rehabilitated. Maybe it'd work better for me if it were an actual protagonist instead of a silent protagonist and we saw that he was actually doubting himself or was really being affected by the world's unfair judgement or something.
It's more abstract than that. He's not being rehabilitated for a specific action, he's being rehabilitated because he's in a prison. The entire game is about catharsis and breaking free of oppressive societal structures/expectations. The Velvet Room reflects the user's heart; Joker's is a prison because he (and the other party members) are prisoners of fate. (Every one of them was "robbed of their place to belong" by someone else and feels trapped because of it.)

So, Joker's "rehabilitation" isn't to become a well-behaved prisoner, it's to fight back and break out of the mental and societal prison he's found himself in. Because rehabilitation is how you get out of prison, right? ;)

Enjoy what you enjoy and all that, but I kinda pity people that go to Japan and spend a lot of time in Akihabara. It's good for like a half-day maybe, but in the scope of the whole country it's kinda weird and uninteresting.

I just really can't see MC being a player. He has the looks, talk and personality to get with anyone, but with the whole probation thing I don't think he'd also want into that kind of trouble lol.
