"Persona" YouTube clips getting hit by copyright claims from... a Russian actress?

So for the past few days, this russian channel has been going around and claiming copyright infringement on a ton of persona-related videos, including LPs, OSTs, gameplay clips from tons of popular channels. Some channels have even been suspended entirely. I have a hard time imagining that Atlus themselves won't take some form of action soon.

Even Megaten channel Devilmaylol has had to take down all of their stuff or face being shut down.

Edit #1:
I've been irritated over this since yesterday. Now that I know that it's not just soundtrack videos and that it's now gameplay videos and stuff, it's gotten really out of hand.

Additionally, I've noticed that there are four separate Russian accounts that seemed to have uploaded the last few videos that were somewhat popular from these suspended accounts:
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCScK6N5BSwAIlPXEliUkSTQ
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiVRhsJSC0CBDwtgRSZ7DNA
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCeWbFLnYWdxsI8mdn3Kq23A
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKdFZ2aEu3fqbCHFaqSj23A

It got to that point where I feel like the person is phishing for info, simply because when you file a counter-notification, you must supply your real name, your address, your phone number, etc. and the other party will see it. So it's pretty tricky.

As I've written elsewhere: While researching Светлана Галка online and "Persona" brought up this link: http://tinyurl.com/mu26nfm from Russian website called "Persona Stars". This has absolutely nothing to do with the Persona IP by Atlus at all, nor does it have anything to do with Aniplex who published the soundtracks, so it's interesting to see that. I surmise that the individual or their website is automatically flagging anything with the word "Persona" in their name.

Additionally, from the comments on this page: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCj5A0s-HijVdEOfaf3WCF-Q/discussion, I've noticed that many of the people participating in this discussion and another individual who was mentioned by one of the posters also had their account flagged because they had uploaded something with the word "Persona" in the video title. This can also be searched because of the cache. For example: http://www.youtube.com/user/theultimateonejps had remixes of Persona music, and this account was wrongfully terminated due to a similar copyright claim by Светлана Галка, who I will once again note, does not have anything to do with Atlus's Persona IP in the slightest.

It's incredibly strange that a Japanese video game company's IP and music is being flagged and claimed by someone who is purportedly a Russian soap opera star (http://ru.wikipedia.org/wiki/Галка,_Светлана_Валентиновна). I don't believe that this person is legit at all. I would caution anyone who is thinking of filing a counter-notification to probably sit on it for now.

Edit #2: So much for related stuff being safe.
I got this logging into one of my random channels:

The hell just happened here?

This explains why a lot of the Persona Music Live clips that had been up for over a year were randomly disappearing.

And that's what's wrong with the internet copyright. Youtube needs to act in advance due to save haven policy, so they won't be taken down long. Now imagine SOPA would have been green light... when a random gal can do it NOW already.

Good god, I searched "Persona music live" and it's a ghost town. Somewhere in the range of 60 videos all been hit by this person.

Youtube pls.

Some random actress managed to shut down channels simply through claims? Does Youtube do actual research into the accusations people make?

For a long stretch of time before last year, they did not. This got them into massive trouble when the Curiosity Mars Rover footage was taken down from NASA's official Youtube channel. The backlash was really bad, and they actually put effort into verifying claims. That said, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if they got lazy again and went back to auto-approving any and all BS copyright claims on Youtube.

I was just wondering yesterday why my Persona videos were being deleted off my channel by a Russian actress, and then this thread appears.

Well that is a huge privacy issue if true. Just in general that is a really bad policy.

Guys guys we are forgetting the most important factor....Is this Russian actress hot? ;p

But yeah it sucks how youtube flagging system doesn't check if the person actually owns the copyrights.

Still, it can't just be one account flagging for it to be taken down, can it?

This is bullshit. theultimateonejps had some of the best Persona remixes and they're all gone due to some Russian actress laying claim to stuff that doesn't even belong to her. Goddammit, Youtube.
