Pilot for cancelled live-action Trauma Team series apparently leaks

I haven't seen it yet, but is it as bad/absurd as the NBC(?) Wonder Woman pilot where everyone praised Wonder Woman for killing/maiming people who only peripherally connected to crimes?

"Ryutaro Asada, a renegade but brilliant surgeon, was being framed for a misdiagnosis and let go by the North Japanese Hospital. He went into exile and lived in a seaside shack when he was visited by Akira Kato, assistant professor of the Faculty of Cardiac Surgery at Meishin University Medical Hospital. Despite being a female doctor, Akira managed to become an assistant professor. She was ambitious and set her goal to be promoted to full professor by succeeding in a surgery using the Batista technique - an extremely difficult type of heart surgery - and to write a paper on it...."

Wut? misogyny much?

That's not a commentary on her abilities. It's about the career she is working in. Her arc is literally about overcoming misogyny in the university hospital system.

Isn't the latest Kamen Rider also about a bunch of doctors (and a pop idol) with video game powers?

And she's not a pop idol, she's a nurse who turns into a Hatsune Miku-type digital idol!

That was just horrible, I lost interest at the 1 minute mark and just skipped around. This is one cancellation that could've stayed hidden.
