Mit dieser beeindruckenden Zahl kann PS4™ weniger als ein Jahr nach dem offiziellen Verkaufsstart die enorme Beliebtheit bei der Gaming-Community einmal mehr unterstreichen. Durch den herausragenden Erfolg sichert sich die weltweit bereits über zehn (!) Millionen Mal verkaufte Next-Gen-Plattform nicht nur die „Pole-Position“ auf dem deutschen Konsolen-Markt, sondern ist auch wesentlich für dessen kontinuierliches Wachstum verantwortlich.

Germany is the biggest market in mainland EU and I think it has a bigger revenue than the UK last year. Systemwise it's still widely PC land but consoles are rising. 1 million sold in less than a year is pretty amazing here. Last numbers I heard, Xbone was somewhere around 200-260k. WiiU around 330k. Those where around summer.

Could be. PS4 was heavily supply constrained until May/June in Germany. Demand was ridiculous. I remember the Watch Dogs bundle in Germany sold tons and this was the first time it was widely available.

I was in one of those markets during release buying tearaway (Got my PS4 way later).They had to call the police, because some guys were punching each other over the last couple ps4s. While others were buying two or more.
