Playstation exists because of Nintendo.

Playstation copied Nintendo to an embarrassing degree more times than I can count.

Nintendo has copied, maybe, 3 of Sony's moves ever while Sony has literally made a career off copying Nintendo.

And how do you think Sony would fare without third parties cradling their balls lol?



Nintendo could do what Sony does if they really wanted to. Get some good specs, bend over backwards for third parties, and maintain a bullshit image that their systems are "cool" for adults. Boom, done.

Good luck getting Sony to do what Nintendo does LOL.




Nintendo's systems are also never FIFA boxes or movie players Spartans = Nintendo in gaming.




Sony could disappear tomorrow and MS/Steam just easily take their place.

There is no replacing Nintendo and we all know it. Who owns Mario again? Who owns Pokemon? Who has all the highest rated and best selling games of all time?

Who's the real king here? Hint: it's not Sony.

If Nintendo dissapeared tomorrow life would go on with PlayStation and Xbox and Mario/Pokemon would go third party

Not just Playstation, but home consoles are in decline in Japan for about a decade now. Wii sold well, Switch sells because its also a handheld.

Supply constraints? Sure, its an issue but bet on it that this system won't break 10 million LTD in Japan. Not even close probably. PS4 sold less than PS3 did. And I reckon PS5 won't match PS4.

Haha, a lot of desperate straw grasping cope here but quite entertaining.

Yes Playstation entered the market after Nintendo's betrayal, we all know the story. Biggest mistake of Nintendo's life, N64 getting destroyed and nintendo humilated by Sony's first console and losing the crown from then on untill this day. And everyone "copies" eachother, It's cute you think Nintendo is a unique snowflake company who doesn't.

And want to talk about handheld and console sales? PS2 is still king and sold more than any handheld or console Nintendo ever put out.

If Nintendo could do what Sony does then why don't they? Their online service is still pathetic for example. But it's good you acknowledge Nintendo has a kiddy reputation and Sony caters more to an adult audience.

Don't delude yourself, the only thing the gaming market would miss when Nintendo would dissapear is their gaming gimmicks that fail most of the time. Or are you having fun with that overpriced cardboard they tried to sell to their gullible fans recently?

The other milked to death franchises like Mario and Zelda would be sold and bought by other tech giants. Nintendo is nothing special and it never was, only nostalgia blinded fanboys think Nintendo is "unique", it's just another company who doesn't care about you but only about your money.
