This “promotion” (lol) is another reason on top of many why buying the PS5 Digital or limiting yourself to a digital console is a mistake.

Not sure why anyone would buy some of these titles at these “staggering” prices if you have a PS5 preordered at launch. Last thing I’d want to do is start Ghost of Tsushima, get halfway through and realize they’re “Remastering” the PS5 version and killing your save file.

This sale sucks overall, some prices even GO UP from the last SALE. These sales are becoming more frequent too, it's more of a psychological "how much will the pay" price experiment at this point than actual sales for the customer. With these sales happening so frequently and at the same percentage discounts, these prices almost become the "new alternate price" rather than the sale price, but this is probably another aspect of the experiment.

Remember it's only the first two films. Warner Bros pulled the plug on the DLC to add the third. Still fun, but was a nasty surprise to me.
