I’m sure you have lots of questions about the games you saw tonight. And we can’t wait to share more! But for now, here’s a brief summary of each game and a collection of trailers in case you missed anything. And of course, you can watch the entire showcase right here.

Horizon Forbidden West from Guerrilla Games
Horizon Forbidden West continues Aloy’s story as she moves west to a far-future America to brave a majestic, but dangerous frontier where she’ll face awe-inspiring machines and mysterious new threats.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales from Insomniac Games and Marvel
The latest adventure in the Spider-Man universe will build on and expand Marvel’s Spider-Man through an all-new story. Players will experience the rise of Miles Morales as he masters new powers to become his own Spider-Man. With PS5’s ultra-fast SSD, players can near-instantaneously fast-travel across Marvel’s New York City, or feel the tension of each one of Miles’s web-swings, punches, web shots, and venom blasts with the DualSense wireless controller’s haptic feedback. Highly-detailed character models and enhanced visuals across the game intensify the story of Miles Morales as he faces great, new challenges while learning to be his own Spider-Man.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart from Insomniac Games
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is a brand new intergalactic adventure from Insomniac Games that showcases what’s possible for games designed around PS5’s ultra-high speed SSD and DualSense wireless controller. Players will seamlessly travel through different dimensions in mid-gameplay, thanks to PS5’s ultra-high speed SSD. The DualSense wireless controller brings combat to life, with haptic feedback and the adaptive triggers adding powerful sensations that increase immersion in combat.

Demon’s Souls from Japan Studio and Bluepoint Games
From Japan Studio and Bluepoint Games comes a remake of the PlayStation classic, Demon’s Souls. In addition to beautiful shadow effects and ray tracing, players can choose between two graphics modes while playing: one focused on fidelity, and one focused on frame rate.

Gran Turismo 7 from Polyphony Digital
From classic vehicles and tracks to the reintroduction of the legendary GT Simulation Mode – GT 7 brings together the best features from past installments of the series alongside the future. An even more realistic driving experience awaits thanks to haptic feedback, which brings to life what it’s like when the tires hit the road. PS5’s immersive 3D audio allows players to sense the position of other cars and drivers around them.

Sackboy A Big Adventure from Sumo Digital
Iconic PlayStation hero Sackboy returns in an all-new 3D adventure with a deeply immersive and expressive control scheme. Players can go on this epic platforming journey solo-style, or they can team up with friends for collaborative, chaotic multiplayer fun.

Returnal from Housemarque
Returnal transforms roguelike gameplay into a third-person shooter where players fight to survive a hostile planet that changes with every death. Players can switch instinctively between firing modes by using a single adaptive trigger and can get right back into the action after dying. PS5’s immersive 3D audio brings the alien world to life around the player, helping players navigate the intense positional combat.

Destruction All Stars from Lucid Games
Destruction All Stars is an action-packed sports event that pits drivers against one another in an intense competition. The goal? Wreck as many cars as possible.

Astro’s Playroom from Japan Studios
Astro and his crew lead you on a magical introduction through PS5 in this fun platformer that comes pre-loaded on PS5. Explore four worlds, each based on PS5’s console components. Each area showcases innovative gameplay that taps into the new features of the PS5’s DualSense wireless controller.

Im a fan of edge of tomorrow, returnal sounds interesting, but i cant help noticing upscale artifacts? Even watching in YT4K. Maybe Sony just upload a really bad bitrate video

Look at the gun area the moment she starts firing

Look at her back outline as she run n gun, play at 0.25x speed.

In regards to Spiderman: "Players can near-instantaneously fast-travel across Marvel’s New York City."

I mean.......that's cool I guess. But it does nothing for me as to why the game should be a PS5 exclusive.

The fact PS4 can’t do that already counter your point.
If longer load times mean I don't have to buy a PS4 game on the PS5 I'll take them. Even that point aside, the game is centered around how much fun traversal is, so having a feature that cuts out the main selling point of the game, isn't exactly the most compelling reason either.

7/9 look great and must buys for me. Returnal is a wait and see and Destruction AllStars is a hard pass.

PS5 real exclusive is now GT7 Sackboy and Spiderman Mike Morales

Sony lost another exclusive Horizon and Demon Souls to PC

Not sure how this strategy will help a faster PS5 adoption rate
i imagine there are other people like myself out there who would rather play games like Horizon on release rather than 3 years later on PC. There is also probably a group that would gladly pay 9.99$ for console HZD than pay new prices on PC. It expands the market share for people who don’t buy consoles.

Yeah they can say what they want . Zero confirmation or zero talk about it anywhere else.

Why not gt7 then? They might have not wanted that on pc.

And to be clear if this is a turn off well xbox is truly useless then as all games are on pc. And day one.
I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Horizon:ZD was just rated for PC in Korea. I'd wager we'll see a trickle of exclusives coming and depending on the success(which I'd wager will be VERY successful) will open them up to a lot more to bring.

The first game yes... Sony confirmed it is coming to PC nobody knows when.

Horizon sequel and Demon’s Souls are PS5 only... unless you want to believe someday they will come to PC and wait 3-4 years for that.

Yeah thats the 3 year old first game not horizon 2.

To demon souls here is some clarification.

Bluepoint is making the bloodborne remake that will come to pc. And they think since its the same company they will make demon souls remake for pc as well.

Not saying its not possible. But lets not make years old pst games that will come to pc in the future a reason to opt out.

I played horizon in 2017. Horizon 2 will may come a year after ps5 release.

Sony is not xbox. Sony needs to sell consoles.

Xbox needs to sell the service and games

There is no Bloodborne PC confirmation from what I googled.

Out of all the triple A titles from that list, GT7 has to be the weakest, graphically. Makes me wonder if they're actually trying to target 4K/120 FPS.

Who knows.

This reveal in 1080p cough more like 480p and 30 fps playback didnt show real life performance.

I must say this was a stupid idea and i fail to understand why they made that choise.

Sony didn’t talk about Bloodborne.
I would give this 50 50 chance but this was talked about for a long time.

Maybe wishfull thinking from the press and pc camp but after the digital foundry segment about 60fps bloodborne its highly likely.

Didn't they said to watch the show with headphones? Did anybody noticed any difference in audio?

Any ideas on how Returnal is a rogue-like? Looks like a third-person bullet hell shooter to me based on what they've shown.

Check the 4k videos of demon souls and hzd2.
At the end of the video it shows playstatiin exclusive.
There were a few where it said console timed exclusive but also available on pc.

So big no for now on these coming to pc
