A press release just came out with a bunch of new info and screen for the remake of Catherine, Catherine: Full Body.

A bunch of stuff on Rin, including the fact that she's lost her memory except for her name, Qatherine, and that she's meant to be a "pure and healing" person, in contrast to C(K)atherine.

You'll also have to escort her throughout sections in the block puzzles.

All first print copies of the game will come with "Nero Glasses" that allow you to see the characters in their underwear during cutscenes. They even included this handy little set of pics.

The photos in the game have been revamped as well.

There's a couple others, but that's the most important one.

A bunch more got announced as well, with further expansions to the Tower of Babel and online play.

Sounds great. Really looking forward to playing through this game again. Here's hoping it remains uncensored for release here.

I want to be excited for this title, but between the way ATLUS handles issuing news about their Western releases and all the shenanigans happening with Sony and censorship, I'm purposefully keeping my expectations in check, in the event I decide to pass on the domestic version (or the game as a whole).

Soooo...I've only played the 360 version (via Backwards Compatibility). So was the PS3/360 version censored from the Japanese version too?

I doubt this game will be censored to be honest. It seems that Sony is going after either more over the top sexiness in gaming, stuff that features underage characters, or interactive scenes (like the mode from Senran that got cut). I'm willing to bet that this game will emerge unscathed.

I doubt it will be censored, because it seems like sony is going after VN, and just explict games to begin with.

While I'd certainly like the game to emerge unscathed, I'm much less optimistic than some. The change to Death Mark increasing seems to be related to Sony, and while Catherine isn't a game I would ever expect to get blocked, I'm not confident Sony won't find something that needs to be purged in the Western release. Hopefully, ATLUS will be thoughtful enough to provide upfront mention of whether anything has been altered for the West.

I hope Sony wont try to censored this game. Makes me wish Atlus would release it for Switch instead for Vita.
