The last few years have seen the rise of Kickstarter, Indiegogo, as well as digital distribution going from strength to strength, which combined has led to a resurgence in both the number and quality of P&C games. In 2016 there was a substantial amount of work done to the very popular Adventure Game Studio engine which will hopefully see this trend continue.
Gez isn't doing the thread this year as it's so time consuming - I don't blame him, my one is waaaaaaay more bare bones then his, copies his layout, and it's still taken me hours.
If there's games you think look cool that I've missed, please post below and quote me (so I don't miss the message) or PM me, and I'll add it to the upcoming games list. Just give me the name of the game and dev, and I'll find the art/description etc.
I'll omit the steam group details as it seems to be dead (I could see only one post in discussion in the entire 2016 year). Please let me know if it's still alive and kicking and I'm looking in the wrong place or something.
