Litten's final evolution is just a genuinely really good design to me. Seems most of the hate comes from fire/fighting fatigue. (Or being bipedal, which just comes across as narrow minded.)

I like all three a lot, but Rowlet won my heart day one.

Are people here really saying that the Tiger Wrestler Pokémon is a lame design? Disappointing.

Just ignore the weird pictures BossDoggie was posting earlier.

nothing weird about a big cat doing big cat stuff!

The fuck were they thinking with Litten's third? It's such an inexplicable leap from the theme of the first two that it's hard to believe it's even real. I think everyone was expecting something something more like this

than some burly-ass bipedal beastman.

that one looks garbage

Boss Doggie's pics have made me love Litten's evo even more than I already did. Such an adorable badass! Already has more personality than the last five Fire starters combined. (You know it's true!)

what's wrong with wanting a fire starter to stay on all fours, like every other fire starter becomes bipedal, i wanted something different

both grass and water have starters that end on 4 feat why can't fire have one

there is nothing wrong with a bit of variety every now and again

I'm thinking some people might be honestly seeing them for the first time on this TCG art too, and they all look super bad in that art. Except Popplio3 which just looks normal I guess.

We've had Typlosion, and Water's only really had one quadrupedal one as well and everyone hated it.

Between the leak in the demo and the some guy twitchy fingers, I really don't see the point in delaying the European release date by 5 days since they're doing a good job of leaking stuff themselves.

Anyway it's cool that we got their Japanese name but I am still waiting on their typing as I want to watch everyone cry when Litten final evo ends up being Fire/Fighting.

Everyone knows you dump your starter on to the PC after about three gym badges anyway.

Nope, still going strong with Charizard and I am currently playing Pokémon Emerald and I am still rocking with Treecko who has fully evolved into a Sceptile.

Seeing all the Popplio admiration I finally understand how Donald Trump is a presidential nominee.

Wut?

Sadly Typhlosion isn't a quadruped in battle.

There's nothing wrong with that, I just don't get why it matters at all. I get finding it too ugly or masculine or anything else really, but if it's all about being on two or four legs then that's where you lose me lol.

Litten's final evo has so much about it that separates it from the the other fire starters. It's incredibly expressive and it's the first aggressive looking fire starter we've gotten in ages.

I don't mean to offend anyone but these fucking suck.

Typlosion is two legged and water had two four legged, though Feraligatr SoulSilver Pokédex entry states that he gets down on all four when out of the water.

To be fair the jump from the first 2 to samurott is weird. Strange body type for an apparent samurai pokemon with 2 shell swords lol.

They had artist block and came up with Samurott design after going to the zoo and seeing some sealion swimming.

Honestly I like Samurott design but they mess up by having him being on all four instead of being upright as Samurott can stand on two legs.

Typlosion is weird like most of his artwork has him Typlosion bipedal but the anime shows him on all fours when moving around, still since he is mostly see has bipedal he doesn't count

also you need to tell me which water starter your talking about cause with either one i find flaws in you statement

because i like quadrupedal designs alot, i just wanted a cool interesting design that stays on four legs

i don't mind the final design that much, i'm big fan of pro wrestling so alot appeals to me. it's just i didn't get what i want that's all

No but for real, those are some weak ass-final evolutions. They look "off". Just something wrong about them. Maybe it's me but ¯\_('-')_/¯

Anyone else getting the feeling we'll see them in today's trailer?
I think so. Otherwise the twitter account goofed even worse than I thought.

Yeah swampert is clearly hunched over. Guess my memory just goes to straight to battle pose.

Is Serperior our only starter with no legs.

I wonder what the trailer today will show if it doesn't show starter evos.

I think Alolan Persian and Diglett/Trio are the most likely.

Maybe Pikipek evos too.

Oh of course, being disappointed for that is different from hating it. I was only talking about hating on it just because it's standing on two.

I get it haha. I'm disappointed Popplio's final evo isn't a clown, but I still like what we got.

Complaining about whether a mon is bipedal or not is petty I think.

Agreed as the 3D model and image doesn't really paint the full picture of how the Pokémon move and attack.

Like for example Samurott model and image doesn't do him justice as he is capable of looking cool.

I was joking with that image as I myself find Litten final evolution off putting as he looks like he's from a Disney cartoon.

No, Popplio doesn't have leg either.

Team Litten, how does it feel to be a complete and utter joke in the eyes of people with good taste?

Popplio won.

You realize most people will pick the fire pokemon because its fire fighting and a wrestler because its fire fighting and wont pick the mermain because its " dumb" and the fire fighting will be the pokemon that gets pushed right.

Keep clamoring about taste though

I'm happy to play as King from Tekken lol.
