As with many other bits of humor, the more you try to break the joke down and explain things, the less funny it gets.
So there is something that can be explained which I didn't get or is it just some weird constellation that is supposed to be funny? Oh well, I give up.

I still haven't found out what's so funny about the whole "Pokemans" thing. What's the significance about those cats?? Is "Pokemans" cat speak or what. I want to let someone explain it to me. Please.

I don't get the babelfish translation, but there is at least some interesting (and not unexpected) information in it:

"the highest record in DS software history has been renewed"

"limitation itself was simultaneously sold"

"so on the queue which seeks "ポケモン" does not break off to around evening"

"also the triple million achievement with most speed in DS history is possible sufficiently."

translate, someone!

babelfish sucks
You can get the gist from an automated translation:

Pokemon sold well
Pokemon sold very well
Heck, it did better than NSMB
The pre-order bonus and commercials rocked
People stood in line for a long time for it
The next shipment is tomorrow so all the people who're in line can go home
More shipments every week too
3 million here we come

Okay, we all know that this game will set records (or has already) in japan, but i'm wondering if it will have the same impact elsewhere in the world (mainly U.S, and europe). Do you goes think Pokemon will be able to make the G.B.A crowd finally purchase a D.S?

I think its very possible. The GBA crowds not pushed onto the DS cause they were still getting the Pokemons etc and were satisfied. Thats changing and if they want to keep up they have to take the jump. Im not sure well see the day 1 insano rush in the US etc but i imagine it will sell very well.

Sinobi states that the DS's record for a debut has been broken once again, surprassing NSMB's. Triple million is going to happen soon.

DQ8 currently holds the record for 3 Million (within 4 weeks, I believe).

It stemmed from a parody of the song, "My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard" with Pokemon-related lyrics.

I think it first appeared on 4chan.

VOOK

We don't know why he keeps buying PAL, either.

Seeing those pics at the Pokemon Center brings back so many memories. I was there one and two years ago, and I managed to get pictures under both the new entrance arc design AND the old one.

I wonder if the massive amount of Pokemon carts Nintendo had at the ready confirms suspicions that they held out on Square's FFIII. Does anyone have any sources citing that Square actually did under-order intentionally (stupidly)?

The official record in Japan is for DQ8, so VGCharts is probably overestimating.
So if these Pokemon games sell 3million copies in under 3weeks(Seems like they will do it in 3 days) will they get the record? Or will they have to sell 6million to grab the record?

Charts seem to lump all Pokemon games together, so i am wondering.

I have a timeline of Nintendo over the past few months.

Actual events-

Iwata in May: "Starting today, we must save DS systems for Pokemon. We can make 170,000 a week. Ship 150,000 and save 20,000 for later"

*DS cap begins*

Minion in June "Sir! DS stocks are going as planned, but it appears there wont be enough cards! Games dont stop selling"

Iwata: "Fine, cap some games. No game can have more than 50,000 cards a week"

Minion: "But FF3!"

Iwata "500k day one, 50k after. Screw Square."

*DS card shortage begins*

Minion in August: "Sir! DS systems are ready for September, DS cards are ready for pokemon....but we no longer have enough plastic for game boxes!"

Iwata: "Damnit. Tell the europe factory to dedicate all resources to Pokemon boxes. Those bastards use 75% more plastic. Give em cardboard! Can we use boxes weve dedicated to square?"

"No sir, they have a box clause in their contract"

*DS box shortage begins*

-Projected-

Minion in September "Sir, weve run out of paper for instruction manuals!"

Iwata: "Godamnit man, we're rolling in yen. Use that for paper"

*Paper shortage begins*

Minion in October: "Sir! Weve used all of the japanese paper money! And there are no more trees"

Iwata "Godamnit man. Use whale blubber!"
