I could see something like this (or any dog-fighting aircraft game), sliding out and being a next-gen early hit. Launch window always feels like a time where a more niche title has a chance to survive. I am thinking 4-player split screen VS and 2-player split screen campaign co-op. Obviously that isn't this game as it now appears, but if it takes off on Steam maybe the devs will get some runway to try that.
