This. And said accounts connect to their respective stores.VOOK said:Will import if I can change it to English and use international PSN accounts on it.
Indeed, would be a shitty surprise to find out after it's been shipped. I do believe it will be, but nothing can be taken for granted nowadays.commanderdeek said:And yeah, I really need some official statement saying that it is region free.
Ratrat said:So, I noticed he said MOST dl psp titles will be compatible with Vita, not all. And then he went on about a possible trade-in, discount program for umd owners who want digital versions of the game. Thought it was interesting.

What was the import price?
I NEED SCISSORS said:The Vita launch has been one of the biggest backfires since... well, the 3DS launch. Sure, it actually has games, but the release timing couldn't have been worse. One week before Christmas will cause absolute chaos for the parents who can't get one for their children, and will in turn drive people towards securing a 3DS instead, or some other gadget like an iPhone 5. And let's not even get started on the 2012 delay for the rest of the world. Disgraceful way of killing hype.

Right after mine, too! Will wait, though.Link1110 said:Yes, right after my birthday. Day 1.
mrklaw said:fingers crossed for region-free. Are we just assuming based on PSP/PS3, or have Sony made any statements?
And good that most games are physical media. If I import I'll want physical cards for a few launch games, don't want to tie my machine to a JPN PSN account, will want to use my UK one to redownload my PSP games.

Yeah, need a Tokyo store which has good prices and allows preordering.Jarmel said:Where can I preorder this so I can pick it up at midnight?
Preorders aren't being taken until the 15th October, so I doubt the reputable places will take any until then.syoaran said:Any reputable place in Japan I can pre-order this from? Amazon.jp doesn't orders up yet. Want to send it to my friend who will deliver it here
I look forward to seeing what insultingly high price Play Asia charge for it. Their 3DS price was hilarious.dallow_bg said:I want to, but fuck the large premium that will surely be put on it.
The biggest megaton was that it basically had none. Not even 3rd HD.BurntPork said:Was there any megaton at the conference last night?

BurntPork said:Oh god
How bad is it?
Play Asia has always done that on hardware though.Jarmel said:Fuck them for the 3DS. I hope they lost money on that. "Hey we'll charge you Ebay prices because we fucking can". No fuck you PA, you charge me the MSRP along with shipping prices but don't try to rip me off. Seriously fuck them for that.
Urban Scholar said:I'm not sure that's true, unless it was regular 3rd PSP, I know for fact one of the montage videos had it shown for a few seconds. I think we have to wait for Capcom's show for more details.

Someone told me Sam Bishop confirmed it yesterday so the information that it is seems reliable.mrklaw said:fingers crossed for region-free. Are we just assuming based on PSP/PS3, or have Sony made any statements?

Is Sony even capable of having a good conference anymore? That sounds even worse than E3...FoxSpirit said:More like a Meh-gaton.
But those two new Square titles for launch could be nice. Too bad we only saw a logo... for launch titles we never even knew existed.
That show was 99.5% about features. Well, TGS full steam ahead, though I'll probably watch the keynote. Maybe I should get some booze for that so I can point and laugh at the repeated fail to use a huge event to hype up the Vita.
Or they surprise me and do one hell of a keynote about the Vita focusing on games and I'll be all "hell yeah."
With booze I win both ways
