isn't this referring to a ethernet cord to your router, not direct PS4>vita?

I'm looking forward to the Remote Play feature, but its support and some of its ramifications are not clear to me. I haven't purchased Injustice: Gods Among Us yet, but I was planning on doing so on the PS4's launch date; would I be able to participate in local multiplayer by using the DS4, with the second player using the Vita to play on a second screen?

I think that option connects PS4 to Vita directly, but PS4 loses its ability to connect to Internet via wifi, hence the ethernet part.
