Here is the story from Graz, Austria from one of our forums:
- People lined up at 2 am
- They let them in front of the store at 5 am, crowd very calm and waiting in a nice line
- When store opened at 9 am, security guards just moved aside and over 120 people rushed into the store
- rushing mass overtuned several shelves, throwing goods (laptops, PS3s..) on the floor
- fights erupted when they grabbed all consoles and security guards had to step in

My carrefour had only two PS4.
They didn't put them on the ps4 shelf but they were hidden by the clerks in the mobile phones desk.
When I went to them to ask about PS4 I noticed two people with PS4s. It was too late just two minutes after the opening.

The entire PS4 stock of Carrefour Italy should have been around 20 PS4s, two in the dozen of store who had them as far as I know.
Ridicolous.

As far as I know 99% of italian ipermarkets didn't received any PS4, thanks Sony.

Author of that post managed to get PS4 and he quickly moved to cashier and straight into the car. Two others in another store ended with consoles but also with minor injuries (sprain wrist, scratch marks and bruises on legs and hands) and with torn up clothes. Insane. More will be posted during the day when they end their well deserved rest.

The queues in Finland were suprisingly short and everything went in a calm, orderly fashion.. at least where I live. Showing up 30 minutes before the doors were opened would have been early enough to get a PS4 without a preorder. It was also quite surprising that the people next to me in the waiting line were not avid gamers. There was one younger woman who was picking it up as a Christmas present for his boyfriend, one older man was buying it for his son, one dude said it was just a sudden decision to come queuing and he had not owned any game console since PS1. I felt like I was the only person who was genuinely excited about getting the console..

Just Called up the dude who will get me my PS 4 on Monday, it is guaranteed, i can even check it if it works at their office so i can swap if needed. FREEZE me for 2 days, cant fucking wait ! I am so glad i will get it so soon, as there is no official launch in my Country :D

Munich, Germany: Went to pick my PS4 up this morning. After half an hour of standing in the queue I was finally at the counter. Next to me there was a guy that pre ordered in September and got turned down.

He talked about how he phoned in and was told he would get his today and all they had to offer was a discount on games when he picks up his PS4. According to the GameStop employee they only had a limited number of consoles which were already assigned to people who pre ordered prior to the 3rd of August. Not one single console was reserved for walk-in customers.

Cancelled my Amazon preorder this morning when they changed the status from launch day delivery to after Christmas! They made this change at 3.15am this morning, fuckers! Managed to grab a KZ bundle that came up on John Lewis though at about 4am so will be picking it up tomorrow! :)

I reserved my console from a local Anttila 5 months ago. I went there 30 minutes before opening and there were about 20 people already waiting. As soon as the metal gate started to open to the TopTen area, this one guy was like lightning fast and dived under the gate. He wasn't even first in the line but he decided to act and leave others to bite the dust. Then everyone just fucking lost it and rammed under the gate and they almost took it with them =D 6 fastest got the console + 3 others who had reserved it like me.

Haha, my local Anttila gave out queuing numbers an hour before they opened the doors so I guess there was no diving under the gates there. I arrived too late to get a number but managed to score from Gigantti.

Here goes, quite probably, nothing!

Preordered right after the E3 announcements. Shop fucked it up sent units out to people later in the queue. Not a happy camper. Seems like you're shit out of luck if you want a PS4 before christmas in Norway.

Sorry but i was just there during a work brake. To buy Super mario 3d World. But they did have it in stock but the clerk was to lazy to grab it because it wasnt registered in their system yet so they couldnt sell it. He was busy registering ps4 games into the system. Now i am back at work and cant leave anymore. I can only check in the evening now but by then it will be probably sold out.

Success! Managed to reserve a Ps4 at 8 this morning from Argos, for collection in Watford. I had earlier managed to order a better bundle for delivery but I didn't trust they actually had sufficient stock so cancelled that after I managed to reserve.

Just got back from collecting the PS4; you get a £10 voucher for that which I put towards Ac4, which got me a £5 voucher which I put towards a red DS4 (and yes, this gets you another £5 voucher).

Yeah from what I heard Argos was your best bet to get one with no pre order once you reserved it online early enough this morning once they let PS4's on the system. Know a few who got them that way.

I will try and keep a eye on that website the coming weeks. Maybe I can snag one when they restock.

Sorry but thats pretty much impossible here in Poland, stocks were sold in seconds/minutes... in one of the biggest store in Katowice where i went to pick up my preordered PS4 there were about 200 ppl waiting and there was about 50 consoles waiting for them. It was a pure chaos... many ppl were injured ;/ I have NEVER seen antything like that in Poland..

Yup. Reserving started here in Ireland at like 6:40am or something random and there was a half hour window when you had a chance of getting one before they all got taken.

I gave the website a check at midnight last night but I guess I was a sucker.
