-Quick Resume (with an option to disable it or choose maximum SSD space assigned to it)
-PS1 and PS2 BC: even if they don't implement the 'insert the original disc and get the digital game' stuff, allow to play locally -outside streaming- in PS5 the 'PS1 classics' I purchased on PS3/PSP/Vita without having to buy them again. And expand the 'PS2 classics' list PS5 has via PS4 BC, as of now there are only 52 games
-PS Vita emulator: This would enable to bring back 'PS1 Classics' and allow 'PSP Classics' and 'PSVita Classics' on PS5
-Allow me to totally switch off the leds from the console and the gamepad
-4K60fps patch for Bloodborne, The Last Guardian and the ND games
-Folders
-Pornhub app I mean... web browser
-PS Store: full wishlist (send mails when games get released or discounted) and detailed search filters support
-PS Now: Better codec, bitrate and support up to 4K 60fps for PS4 and PS5 games
-VRR + 1440p support
-Allow to store PS5 games and savedata on USB storage even if it's only allowed to play them from the internal storage

+some way to see new add-on releases on a list
+more sorting options for your games collection..like a way to sort out non-playable games/demos
+add 1440p and 120htz support for 2.0 hdmi devices.
+freesync
+option to turn on HDR only for HDR games.
+fix some bugs causing crashes or standby issues.

Whats odd about the Web browser....there are settings for a web browser in the Settings. Maybe its hidden? I know on the PS4 you could get to the web by trying to sign up for wifi hotspot and some other ways.

There might be a way with clicking on FAQ, Help links.

Activities....they are good but are best when a game is already loaded., started. Activities for saves before you load a game might help.

I tried having multiple manual saves for Spider-Man Remastered to see if it changes anything.

Once a game is running, Activities are amazing. Maybe a way to create your own Activity card could help.

I saw the web browser pop up in one of the settings so its there but only for specific purposes when the ps5 opens up a webpage.

Ok, just realized about Activities.

Astro Playroom is a good example of the Dual Sense and Activities.

Without booting the game, I can go into a previous level from the Cards. That is amazing.

What you mean trophy redesign ? I dont have a PS5 yet but from the videos i ve seen it seems they have some new features (like tracking) while keeping the old clean UI.

I don't know if I'm missing something but the whole pressing the PS button and then having to physically navigate all the way to the right on the bottom menu to either turn off or put the console into rest mode is long winded. Is there a shortcut?

Yes you can. Just have to change your settings. People complained about this feature on ps4 all the way up to the present.(it's already an option) Just look in your settings on ps5 people.

There is no 'hardware limited' to make wishlist possible. They could add wishlist on both PS4 store and PS5 store, not just on PS5 store, unless PS4 would be discontinued.
Just like foulders. PS4 OS have, but PS5 OS don't.

No idea how there's already a wishlist mine would be a classic boot up mode when I game I game, you can also have regular mode but I wouldn't mind a classic mode.

You're having a hard time to understand, do you?

PS5 don't need a firmware to add wishlist my friend. Now, folders in the other hand indeed need to have a proper firmware update to add and change the UI because this is not a 'cloud' related thing.

Im confused because having a wishlist was one of the features you asked for on your list?
and I said its already a feature on the store.
Its already a feature on the PS5 store, and this thread is about PS5 features people want.

And a good sit-down discussion with developers explaining that the "preferred graphics settings" in the OS should NOT remove the ability to change the graphics settings in-game, just start with those settings.

People keep asking for Folders but I want to see Tabs.

There is a ton of room next to Games and Media and I think it would look a whole lot cleaner overall.

While that sounds like a capital idea on its face, it would almost certainly result in reams of tech support calls from clueless people that just purchased a pricey SSD and can't use it as normal storage for their PS5 games.

Sigh... you still not understanding, don't you? Was I'm saying have nothing to do with firmware dude. I'm talking about Playstation Store at a role. Both via web browser, PS4, PS5 and mobile. Remember? Getting a wishlist online that will cross-save between all the other store.
What the sense of having wishlist only on PS5 store if you can't do in others Playstation Stores? Or you gonna go to your work or travel taking your PS5 with you just for look deals around your wishlist?

Nah I didnt get it because this thread is about ps5 features people want and you didnt mention anything about ps4, mobile or web browser lol.
Having it only on ps5 is fine for me

PS4 had zero lol. So Im glad they implemented it

Screw folders.

Use some type of tagging system, like XB1's "Groups", that lets one game/item be sorted into as many folders as you'd like automatically.

Check the settings menu for Create button mapping shortcuts. There is an option called easy video clips. Just have to tap create twice. Not one press but it's better than taking you out of the game.

Edit: As for the topic. All I want for features is browser which we all know exist due to settings information and and being able press R2/L2 to get to end of tiles.

I would really love to be able to pair my AirPods to this thing. If I want to play something and not have to worry about bothering people with the sounds.

Yeah the removal of folders is going to be a problem before everything else. At least I don't have to scroll past 10 media services I don't use/want to select Plex now.

The fact that the official headphones need a USB dongle is sort of embarrassing in 2020.

Do you own a PS5? Regarding the Web Browser, I assume it's not available as a standalone but it must work somehow since... Genshin Impact currently has a web event ongoing, within the game there is a URL that opens a webpage and it works the same as PS4 - a webpage is opened.

I'm wondering if it's there only in case it's called upon by some game or app...

Thanks! Yea I'e actually already changed it to that feature but I just want to be able to tap it once because that's how I had it set up on PS4 for the past 6 years.
