Maybe expanded memory storage.Hopefully base doesn’t mean a full digital system.
I'm kind of expecting to just "suck it up". Not expecting anything under £350 at this point.Depending on the technology and whether Switch-1 games are physically BC i won't bat an eye spending $400 on the next Switch.
Hopefully it means we get options. I see no point buying a physical media version of the Switch, and would prefer an option to skip having a cart slot at all at a cheaper price.Hopefully base doesn’t mean a full digital system.
Yeah, $400 is fine for me.Depending on the technology and whether Switch-1 games are physically BC i won't bat an eye spending $400 on the next Switch.

I don't think there will be much cost savings in removing the card reader, it's not as complex as a disc drive.Hopefully it means we get options. I see no point buying a physical media version of the Switch, and would prefer an option to skip having a cart slot at all at a cheaper price.
My fear is the launch model will be LCD only. I don't think I can downgrade from the Switch OLED back to an LCD pannel, unless its an Apple tier miniled with a very high zone count, but Nintendo would never spring for that.
Looks to me that basic will be only handheld console & you can buy docking station to enhance TV experience separately....I hope I'wrong.Hopefully base doesn’t mean a full digital system.
base is probably digital and no dockHopefully base doesn’t mean a full digital system.
Physical BC is the only spect I need. The rest would be a plus.
Do not like the idea of two versions.
They better not do a digital sku vs a cartridge sku. The value proposition for a second version better come from upgraded storage space, a controller or game included. The trend of no disc drive, or in Nintendo's case no cartridge slot in a sku pisses people off and that's the last thing Nintendo needs to be doing.
400us would mean at least 450 euros to 500 for the base modelI'm kind of expecting to just "suck it up". Not expecting anything under £350 at this point.
I really doubt it, the card reader cost almost nothing, is not the same as a disk player.base is probably digital and no dock
it's not about the cost of the reader, it's to compensate the hardware loss by making users buy digital games onlyI really doubt it, the card reader cost almost nothing, is not the same as a disk player.
60$ for fast chargeSwitch 2 Digital 1080p LCD screen 400$
Switch 2 Digital 1080p Oled screen 500$
Switch 2 Digital 1440p Oled screen 600$
Dock: 150$
Nintendo usually doesn´t sell hardware at a loss.it's not about the cost of the reader, it's to compensate the hardware loss by making users buy digital games only
I would definitely go for an OLED screen.Switch 2 lite 1080p LCD: 400$
Switch 2 1080p Oled: 500$
Switch 2 1440p Oled: 600$
Dock: 150$
Switch 2 1080p Oled 128GB: 500$60$ for fast charge
Hated on Xbox guy, Nick, rumored it's coming... for a price.Physical BC is all I ask.
If that's in, I'll be there day 1.
Is this your speculation or is this what the leaker actually said?one sku handheld and digital only
and more expensive SKU with a dock and card reader
I'm almost 100% sure they won't do that since the cartridge reader is a very cheap component compared to a blu-ray disc drive. Even the cheapest SKU in the current line-up has it (e.g Switch Lite) so it's probably costing them like $5 or $10 at the most to include one. And on top of that, physical is still very strong (especially their 1st party games) on Nintendo consoles.
