IMHO those leds are washing the excellent contrast of the PSP screen, that's why the machine its black in his origin.

You get the color red as a bonus, too, since those LEDs will illuminate the blood in your fingers.

Not really diggin' it for the same reason why cellphones with tons of bright, flashing LEDs aren't my cup of tea.
