Pita-ten? I only read the manga and it's been a few years but it was pretty dull.

After i finished the series, i was so disappointed to find out only the first two volumes of the LN series were released in english.;_;

Only one actually. They were going to release the second, it just got hit with so many delays and they eventually canceled it. GOD I was pissed. I can only pray that a publishing company decides to bring it stateside eventually. In the meantime, I need to learn more Japanese to read them myself. ;________;

You really shouldn't avoid Ghost in the Shell SAC at least.

Edit-Well actually maybe you should since you liked Afro and aren't finding Cowboy Bebop as good as Champloo. But Macross Plus does in fact have a lot of the same staff as Bebop.

Used to watch a lot of Anime, not so much anymore, takes something pretty interesting for me to watch now but when I was watching a lot of anime these stood out. Evangelion is a real no brainer though.

Also, Ergo Proxy has the best intro of any anime imo.

Neat! I just saw that the Baccano! dub is up on Anime News Network. Hulu only had the subbed version, I think, and I've not had a chance to hear the English cast before now.

Funimation also has it on their Youtube channel, both subbed and dubbed versions:

While 2007 has 204ish anime releases, 2008 had 149 and 2009 had 128, most of that was terrible (as usual) so I wouldn't expect the it to look that different.
