And that is why other games move the hell out of the way of Rockstar launch days lol. Holy crap that looks amazing.

Some good things, some bad too.

Good:

hand to hand fighting

different shooting mechanics per weapon

Horse/rider relationship

A lot of side stuff

Bad:

steretypized look as hell

the environment were not as good as faces and characters models

Wait for the GOTY edition with zombies in it

Overall Amazing, but I am still sticking to my Spidey preorder and for a cheap GOW.

This game is fucking beautiful. It's exceeded my already high expectations. GOTY for sure.

Man, I wish all people who get to play it this year a lot of fun! Looks nice! I'm sad that I have to wait for the PC version...

Glad to see some of the action in this video, loving the look of the gunplay and interactions. Will be getting this on both PS4 and PC to play with different sets of buddies.

They showed kids including Jack. Wondering if kids will be present in the open world. I also want to learn more about swimming if possible and if there is any fire mechanic ala Far Cry.

lol easy there, junior. i'm sorry you are so hurt that the platform you've probably invested a lot of money in is always treated like a second class citizen despite the core fanbase trying to act like they are the "master" platform. It's not the case.

There is plenty of time to start saving up on your paper route for a nice base PS4 or Xbox One to play on. Then in two years you'll be able to pirate your PC copy of Red Dead Redemption 2 (out of protest for not being available at launch and really stick it to Rockstar) and go back to your cave and play with a higher framerate.

lmao paper route

The gunplay seems to be HEAVILY inspired by Max Payne 3 it seems. You carry your guns, like rifles, around or put them on your back.

Max Payne 3 style gunplay? Sounds good to me! here's hoping for slo-mo bullet finishers

GOTY incoming

but i really didn't care much for the SP in RDR1, i just want more of the same masterpiece of a MP that was in RDR1, no GTA V's online bullshit, just a simple and amazing MP like in RDR1
Chances are the multiplayer is going to be much more like GTA Online than Red Dead Redemption's implementation. Just be sure to actually look it up before buying it :p

God damn! I expected this game to look good, but I didn't expect it to look that good. This thing is gonna set my X on fire.

Only thing I'm a bit skeptical about is the base management stuff. It's not really my thing and looks like it has a big impact on the game. Hopefully I'm worng and it's just a minor annoyance.

Looks amazing.
Was already sold based on the fact that I liked the first more than any GTA, and finally seeing gameplay it looks to be everything I expected

The footage is all running off a PS4 Pro. It mentioned that in the Facebook post they made anyhow. Really looking forward to this game.

Safe to say PC gamers won't be able to play this for awhile. It will be tough for them to avoid spoilers.
Not really. I waited for GTA 5 PC version for two years and got into it unspoiled. It ain't that hard to avoid clicking on spoiler threads.

Still waiting for Red Dead Redemption 1 then?

Let's not pretend this is the same situation. RDR2 is running on an engine that has a perfectly tuned PC version and all platforms are running x86, for one. GTA5 sold around 20 million copies on PC, for two.

Strauss Zelnick wants to buy his 358th ferrari, do you think he is gonna leave that kind of money on the table?

Damn ive watched it a few times, some of the vistas are just amazing, with more interaction with the world, hopefully it will bring the world alive. I think rockstar are pushing the benchmark up again with its open worlds and taking it to another level

RDR2 is already on my list even if i haven't seen any footage of it, and if i have any complaints about it i'll be sure to post it on GAF :p

I was hoping we’d get to rotate characters again like GTA5.

Otherwise looks good though.
Hope GTA6 brings that back.

I can't fucking wait. RDR is one of my fav games of all time, and I had an absolute comical blast playing mp with my friends.

I'm gonna watch this when i get home. I don't think watching the video on my phone is doing it justice.

I liked RDR1, though I felt it was a bit overrated. The snow scene in this video though just sold me this game.

I'm really interested in learning what RDR2 online is going to be like.

Overall looks like a game i could sink many hours into.

I just want them to have online poker again lol. The lack of the casino in GTAO annoys me to no end.

First Red Dead was unfortunately for me a bore fest after a few hours but i definitely will give this one a try.

Revolver or Redemption? I actually loved Revolver back in the day but I bailed on Redemption halfway through, I was just bored. Rockstar makes me sad, they were one of my favorite devs in the PS2 era.

I definitely can't stomach another Rockstar game on consoles so if I do pick this up it'll be in 2019. BFV comes out like 5 days prior to this and my money is going there.

I loved RDR1 and I’ll 100% be getting RDR2, so don’t get me wrong, but I am genuinely surprised at all the gushing over the graphics. Mind you, I only watched the trailer on my phone.

I mean, it looks great, but I didn’t feel wowed by it. It’s exactly what I expected. If anything, the character models are a little disappointing to me. I was more wowed the first time I saw RDR1. This just seems like what to expect from an open world game in 2018. That’s not a bad thing btw.

Yay, my XB1X will actually have something to play now!

Don't think I can wait for a PC version - will take a little while to get used to 30 fps again, but will be an non issue after that if the game is good.
