You're missing some people like Morrigan and Brazil, OG mods and they're still around. You're also forgetting Kristoffer (conservative mod that was eventually banned) and probably a few others.
Either way, the turnover rate is kind of ridiculous.

I remember the whole fiasco with Professor Beef and the backlash he got about posting that Simpson’s gif about Etika, what was the issue with Finale Fireworker? Always rolled my eyes seeing him post an official mod communication with that stupid avatar of someone with his hands crossed. He was like the Barney Fife of Resetera.

Fact is, there probably are a ton of people here that believe something I'd be uncomfortable with believing - for myself I'd call it bigotry or sexist or whatever - but the fact than I can talk with them, disagree, agree, maybe find new standpoints to views things, get challenged on things I think and take for grantedb or just straight call out people on their bullshit and we both live to do it again another day...
I'd rather disagree in good company, and maybe there's some people on ERA still who feel that way too.

I don’t really side with his politics, but Cheesemeister was usually a pretty solid gaming-side poster on oldGAF. I had no idea he was a mod on RE. And it was definitely short-lived...he only has 47 posts on record, last one from Feb 2018. In that post, he had just closed a thread wherein everyone was mocking televangelist Pat Robertson after he had a stroke, for “...the discussion [being] in poor taste.” I wonder if caught some behind the scenes flack for being a sympathizer or something, or he just saw the direction it was all headed and abandoned ship early on.... in any case, his full departure was wisdom on his part.
