Resident Evil 7 Trophies Revealed

Dusk Golem

I decided this deserved it's own topic as several had been asking what trophies/achievements are in RE7 for a while.

The source is from Imagur from people who have the game early, but they'll be popping up officially shortly as well probably.

The imagur in question: https://imgur.com/a/NzNj8#xdUzHm6

HIDDEN TROPHIES:
Eleven hidden trophies on top of this.

---

A few interesting ones in there, and some may be tied also to in-game unlockables (like the beat the game in less than 4 hours one). I'm totally on top of this making RE7 topics things.

Stack those difficulty trophies and I'm happy.

Edit: Just seen the change from 5 to 11 hidden trophies. Hopefully they are story-related and just unlock naturally.

I was thinking the same thing, but I'll probably have to play through this three times anyway to plat.

First playthrough on normal to get use to the mechanics and environment, second on Madhouse for the related trophies, and then again on easy to get the speed run and open item box x3.

Complete the game in 4 hours eh? I actually quite like the sound of that, hopefully it's highly replayable.

Yeah, this sucks with RE games, but is also a norm with lots of Japanese games. Forcing you to beat it several times.

Gonna go for that platinum depending on the game mechanics. If there are some scrubby monster movements that mean instant death on the hardest difficulty I'll blatantly skip it.

I also hope it autosaves because I HATE manual saves in a game.

It autosaves and has checkpoints on Easy/Normal difficulty, but on Madhouse it's the classic RE-styled saving system with Typewriters and Ink Ribbons, except now it's Cassette Recorders and Cassette Tapes (Cassette Recorders are also in Easy/Normal, but are like RE4 and can save at them at any time).

There are item boxes?

Yes, and a a finite inventory and item management.

One bright side is without saying too much, there 100% is also an in-game unlockable you get when you beat the game under four hours.

Please be a one hit kill gun that I can use on Madhouse haha

I completed Resi 5 on hardest difficulty so fingers crossed I'll be capable of this.

This keeps getting better :D
Can't wait for release now

Well you got access to all your weapons and unlimited ammo in Resi 5 so that helps a lot.

Just equip your S&M500 and you're good to go. :p

I may have missed it, but any difficulty trophies?

The Nightmare's Finally Over (Bronze)
Complete the game on Normal.

Who's Your Daddy Now? (Silver)
Complete the game on Madhouse.

No word if they stack or not, but probably as past Resident Evil games have done so.

Looks better than REmake's trophy list for example. Only one speedrun trophy and no bullshit ones like finish the game with invisible enemies.

I probably won't even try winning the platinum when I get the game eventually, because I almost never do speedrun/insane difficulty trophies. :)

TheSeks

Blinded by the luminous glory that is David Bowie's physical manifestation.
Just a reminder, Remake's "trophy" of unlocking a rocket launcher was completing it in under 3 hours.

That was true for the Gamecube version and base Biohazard.

This is a throwback to those
better
times. I highly doubt people will get that their first-run, but it just shows you can speed-run (and possibly unlock something) like Bio0-3.

no bullshit ones like finish the game with invisible enemies.

Wut? I don't recall that from REbirth.

You get the Infinite Rockert Launcher in Resi 5 if you complete the game in under 5 hours, no Trophy related to it though.

I imagine the hidden trophies are story related but definitely going for the platinum. Hope they do continue the tradition of past re games for unlockables.

Yeah, there's a trophy:
Ghost of a Chance - Finish the game in Invisible Enemy mode.

Don't get me wrong, difficult trophies should exist (and they should be in the majority), but not when they're based on some idiotic rules.

I don't wanna look through them but do they look like good trophies to aim for? Nothing too crazy on there?

Doesn't look like anything too crazy, unless there's some super hard one in the hidden trophies list.

The three trickier ones would be the Gold trophies, which are focused on beating the game while giving yourself certain goals/limitations.

I assume the hidden trophies are all boss fights and the like.

I want to know who this Mr. Everywhere is.
And why he has so many statues.

You've been the MVP with the RE7 news. You just a really big fan? Starting to think you may work at Capcom lol. Anyway, this list doesn't too tricky I will probably go for platinum at some point.

Thanks! Those Gold trophies sound interesting.
