Pondered on it for a moment, and decided to do it MMORPG style. Aggro'd the npc, kited him to his home, and used a joke scroll to reset aggro status. Quest complete.
Anyway, I hope PiranhaByte overhaul their art direction/scenario department. Gothic/Risen were fun to explore, but the environments and script were so drab. Dunno, maybe the dialogue may be more fun in German.
