Im so glad to see somebody new here that is very happy enjoying RB multiplayer....I can tell you that I felt the exact same thing when I met BBG, Xevren and Speed for the first time more than one year ago...and I can tell you that I am still playing a lot so Im definitely looking for our first performance. Playing Abbey Road will be epic...and if you want to repeat Sgt Peppers I will be there =)

I will say, this is a frustrating reminder of how badly I wish a group could do harmonies online. I'm in the same boat there, I've got two mics and no one to try to harmonize with.

yes...this sucks. I have the normal mic and the 2 lips mics....but people here is so ignorant about the beatles that I will never find friends willing to do harmonies with me.

as for RBN, I'm waiting a tiny bit longer, then buying on large pack of points and going through and buying myself a whole new setlist at once. Otherwise I'm going to go crazy trying to follow every day's release.


also, I'm still up for hosting a San Diego Bash if anyone's interested. As long as it's not mid July, as I'll be in New York seeing Iron Maiden. Or in October, as I'll be in Germany and the surrounding area.
 
I know it's kind of unheard of in gaming but I really hope Rock Band 3 will allow you to transfer over all of your scores from RB2.

I'm also wondering how transferring of "DLC" is going to work.

RB1 --> RB2 = $5
Lego --> RB2 = $10

RB2 --> RB3 = ???

I don't think I have EVER, in my entire life, been this excited about any game's unveiling as I am about Rock Band 3 being introduced to the world at E3 2010 (June 15-17).

I'll be driving through California on my way to Seattle in late June, so I'd be down for then. Plus since I'll be in Washington, I could come down for the weekend. Just gotta know when.
 
I wish my kids were older id love to have a reason go back to san diego. I haven't been there for seven years, I was born there, but all my family moved. My wife has family in LA if it was there I could pawn my kids off on some one :lol

Well, if it's timed around the San Diego Comic Con then that would be an awesome week. :lol

San Diego Comicon is July 25th...I will be in Tahoe then...first time I'll not be going in 4 years. Worried that I'm going to miss a few Sideshow figures, but I'll figure something out.
 
I don't know if I'll be able to afford a ticket to this year's SDCC anyway. If not, well I'll be driving through San Diego on up through California late June/early July. Don't have an exact date yet though.

I would love to spend a few days in SD, LA and San Francisco before heading to Seattle.

Too bad Will Ferrel can't make movies like that anymore. A great ensemble cast he can play off of is what makes him good. He can't carry a whole movie by himself.

Hey ravien, if I mod a PSP I can rip the games to the memory card, right? The last time I owned a PSP I thought it was broken because the disc drive was so fucking loud, lol.

Yes. A few new games won't work, like Kingdom Hearts. That's it though. Also if you mod it, you will lose the features from 5.5 and on, probably forever because the new CFW team SUCKS.
 
I'm not making a full announcement until I finish updating the website, but I figured I'd make mention of it here at least. Got two new bands for RBN:

Blue News - You've Got Someone
Kind of a light folk-rock sound. Already started authoring, it's not a very tough song.

Stagehands - Welcome to Our Town
Best as I can tell, this is a rock band that wrote and recorded a musical. It's gonna take forever to get right, since it's so vocal-driven.
