I would like to see the reactions if Microsoft and Sony allowed multiple stores on their consoles with separate friends list, achievements, and lackluster features separate from PSN and XBL.

You do understand that Steam only exists because Microsoft DOES allow all that on Windows?

Valve are not the only company who are allowed to run a store on Windows. If that were the case, it would be anti-consumer.
