Another year, another Call of Duty game...

Should have just dropped a full fledge future title with mechs and remastered World at War. It's a not like COD runs on some amazing engine so WW2's dramatic action won't properly be displayed as it would else where.
GAF -> Internet -> GAF
I can't believe that we're hopefully getting a non wall running non jump jetting non pink Mohawk CoD. Like a dream come true.
Every time I see this thread title I say to myself "what? we're not making another Wii SKU as far as I know?!"
But we have COD4 Remastered - it´s still super fun!
World at War isn't Cod4. The point last year was to help prop up Infinite Warfare. Which helped. I don't think there's a large amount of people willing to pay extra, for a game they don't want, just to get W@W. I also imagine they plan to release more dlc for Cod4, along with a standalone package. We'll probably see MW2 next year.
That's not of popular opinion on here anymore sadly.
Infinite Warfare, the game who's reveal had one of the worst thumbs up/thumbs down ratios on YouTube, was the top selling game of 2016. The fact that you had to buy IW to play MWR proves there is a large amount of people willing to pay extra for a game that don't want i.e. IW for MWR.
.
World at War isn't Cod4. That's my point. There may be people willing to buy it, but not enough that it could prop up another sci fi game. Especially with Destiny and Battlefront 2 coming up, both of which are going to sell 15mil+ copies.

The online pop for the game is great though. I think it's one of those things that when people aren't happy, they complain. When they are fine with something, they really don't say anything. I think MWR is a great game, but I haven't spent the time to praise it - I'll rather play instead
And side note - usually the people who complain don't necessary play it. They read what the updates are, and then complain.
We just have been told by our main source that the official reveal will be 21 April

It's in the same vein as COD4, Before they ruined the series with MW2, 3 killstreaks only, no lightning quick TTK.World at War isn't Cod4. That's my point. I really hope that Call of Duty will be released on the Nintendo Switch
A call of duty game? In November?
Fingers crossed. Really only the Wii U saw the limited collection of COD titles missing from their library - AW, BO3 and IW.
Wii still has consistently high online players playing MW Reflex, MW3 and BO1 today.

I know, west coast and all, but still
Honesty, I wouldn't get your hopes up.
I've come to take COD rumors with a grain of salt. I remember before E3 2014, VG24 reported that Advanced Warfare was coming to the Wii U. Yeah, that never happened.

this guy somehow reminds me of an older version of hbomberguy
Why always WW 2? IS everyone afraid of Vietnam or something else? Screams creatively bankrupt to me.
