Just stick to steam. Windows store is just pure cancer.Do we still have the issue, that Steam and Windows Store Versionen are/were different or run differently?
Ideally I would do that, but we (me and my wife) have 2 systems at home and Afaik with the Windows Store we can still use the game share Feature and play at the same time. Like on Xbox consoles.Just stick to steam. Windows store is just pure cancer.
As much as I agree, they did the same with Horizon 4 and 5 so it's not really a surprise.Early access digital.

I already use that, but we cannot play the same game at the same time. I can only share my games with her and only one Person can playI think steam has also this "family sharing" thing.
As someone who is switching from Xbox to PC.

One of the few DLC that's always worth it. Two expansions. Might as well just buy it up front and get a few extra days in.As much as I agree, they did the same with Horizon 4 and 5 so it's not really a surprise.
Plus, it's no doubt to get a lot of Game Pass players to buy the Ultimate edition upgrade. It's quite smart on that front.
Oh, thats neat! In that case yr choice should be clear.I already use that, but we cannot play the same game at the same time. I can only share my games with her and only one Person can play
If I remember correctly few games had different patches or fixes on PC like Nier Automata in the past. What do you mean by differently? As in single ownership? then, no, buying the Steam or Win Store version won't get you the other one.
That only happens for Console and Win Store versions.

Microsoft Store vs Steam version. It's really not what it looks. :: NieR:Automata™ General Discussions
So. After watching a few youtube videos showing the differences. I ended up doing them myself. None showed what trully matters and they are just wrong. What I found out was that the MS store has a few things right, yes, but it also has a few things wrong. To not make a wall of text. Here is a...steamcommunity.com
For a game like this I'm sure the updates will be frequent and maybe mandatory.Physical or no buy.
Nah, you may enjoy driving around aimlessly but complaints regarding the progression system are very common now, they'd be foolish to ignore themAny complaints about the FH series are just small grains of sand. The progression system isn't perfect but it's the only game I can say I play at least once a week since it launched in 2021... and have fun doing so. There is so much grinding in other games I just want to have a chill arcade racer.
"street legal". So weird when people say this.
LOL
It's basically saying it looks like a race car but it's actually a street legal carI don't even know what that means. Isn't every car on the streets .. street legal?
A toyota corolla is street legal.![]()
Usually you make this distinction when you have a car which is more close to a pure race car, but still having all necessary parts (turn signals etc) to be able to drive in normal traffic. A real race car is usually not street legal.I don't even know what that means. Isn't every car on the streets .. street legal?

Yep. It's just a production sports car like any other, with complete luxury interior and airbags.Usually you make this distinction when you have a car which is more close to a pure race car, but still having all necessary parts (turn signals etc) to be able to drive in normal traffic. I think they are also selling the Toyota GR GT3...that one isnt street legal. Its for motorsport only.Yep. It's just a production sports car like any other, with complete luxury interior and airbags.
Well lets take your PGR example. In those games you started with slower cars and worked your way up to supercars. The first Horizon was the same, the classic NFS type experience. In the most recent Forza games (not just Horizon) you are instantly put into supercars. You can start FH5 with a mid engined Corvette ffs, in the first Horizon game you started with a VW Corrado.I don't drive around aimlessly, I pull up the giant map with the events on it if I want something specific. If I feel like driving around the map checking out the sights I can do that too, or going to the drag strip are and racing other people online, etc. Not seeing the issue with options?
What is so broken about progression? Again, keeping in mind it's an arcade racer. I don't feel like dealing with GT style "get your license" kind of game play here, that is what the original Forza series is for. I just want to hop on, drive some different style cars (I don't want to be relegated to D class cars for the first few hours) and have fun, exactly as an arcade racer should be.
I'm not new to the series, in fact I've been playing since Project Gotham Racing 1 on the OG xbox (yes I know PGR is different, but I moved right onto Forza and FH as well).
Well, that's not a street legal car, it's a track only car. They lack road-legal features like emissions controls, crash structures, airbags and proper lighting/signals, etc..well, there are cars that aren't street legal due to pushing the boundaries too hard.
the Ferrari FFX K for example is not street legal. if you buy one, Ferrari will ship the car to a race track of your choice, where you can drive it lol
That's like any car maker and the Gr version. Part of the rulebook that you need a production car. The one in that picture, is the production car.I think they are also selling the Toyota GR GT3...that one isnt street legal. Its for motorsport only.

So this is very likely accurate and we'll get it official later today. We didn't get this for Fable, makes me wonder if they will share a release date or not.
That was one of my biggest turn offs with the campaign. Seeing 4" ground clearance "super cars" trucking through the off-road terrain in races with no negatives.you should not be able to do a campaign race on off-road tracks with cars that aren't made for off-roading. neither should the game dynamically adjust opponent cars to your class.
it should be the other way around.
the issue with the progression is that every race is just a track, and the type of car you use doesn't matter.
you can go to an off-road event and drive a BMW Isetta. the game will then automatically give all your opponents equally shitty cars.
that's not how a campaign should function. a campaign should get harder as you progress, and you should be forced to optimise your car to keep up.
that's how the original Horizon worked, and it's how almost all other arcade racers worked/work...
Forza Horizon at this point is sadly just an absolute bloated experience where nothing matters and cars get just thrown at you at random.
the only actually interesting parts are the forzathon challenges, but those also vary from cool to annoying.
while all the normal races in the game have no personality or structure.

I think it was Horizon 4, one of the first wheelspins I ever did I won a Veyron...I just threw my hands up in the air like oh...There goes all progressionI would like to get rid of the spinners and win chances and all that silliness. Give me money for races and events, let me buy my cars. I do not care about my outfit in a car game. Also you need to say my name. When I start up the game say Hello "My name".

Always hated seeing this as well and even early on before unlocking fast travels I always drove cross country in the lifted Jeep or something like a Raptor F150 simply because it made it seem a little more reasonableThat was one of my biggest turn offs with the campaign. Not just driving. There are emission/noise regulations, safety, type of seat belt, lighting, steering wheel, windshield, body/structural and parking requirements that a race car may not comply with.Usually you make this distinction when you have a car which is more close to a pure race car, but still having all necessary parts (turn signals etc) to be able to drive in normal traffic. One thing The Crew series got right with how various vehicles perform depending on terrain.Always hated seeing this as well and even early on before unlocking fast travels I always drove cross country in the lifted Jeep or something like a Raptor F150 simply because it made it seem a little more reasonable
Fair but I suppose one factor we haven't discussed is difficulty and what you run for assists
I do not run Traction Control, Stability, control or any assists whatsoever outside of ABS, I also drive with manual shifting, no racing line, no rewind, nothing. That and a proper difficulty setting forces me to choose the right car for the track. I've always played these games with as little assists as possible and on a decent difficulty setting there is no way not having proper tires and vehicle setup on the type of track is going to net me an easy win. In fact on some races I've had to lower difficulty and while I may not be as good as my younger self was I'm still well above average in this game.
Edit:
That being said, I suppose if I didn't run the game the way I do the game would indeed be a cake walk.
the issue is that there is no progression.
if you play your very first race with your settings, it will be just as difficult as the very last race you'll ever do in the game.
everything is just the same. you go to a race, and you have a BMW M3 that's tuned to A class. every other car in the race will be the same type of car and the same class.
nothing ever changes.
you could play almost the entire game with that single car and single class, never tuning it or upgrading it further
True, but that's the issue, you have to make your own fun in the game. This has been an issue with Horizon games for years. I constantly put my own restraints on what cars i'd pick etc because the game is so open ended, there's just no meaningful structure.I mean I get it, but at the same time you don't have to choose the same car.
I mean I get it, but at the same time you don't have to choose the same car. if I feel like using a D class offroader against other D class cars I can, or if I feel like racing X class hyper cars, I can. The game will pit you up against similar cars for balance purpose, why would I want a completely unbalanced race?
People are saying cars are so easy to obtain, so why would I bother with the same BMW M3 every race? Unless you guys are literally looking to be forced to use only certain cars more often (which again, you can easily switch to what you want to use?).
Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind more variety and specialty races such as the player being forced into a car (we'll say your A class M3 example) vs low ranked S class FWD Hot Hatches on the CPU as more of a challenge thing. I guess with the weekly events I get my fill of things like that (Audi vs BMW, USA vs Japan, etc.)
"street legal". So weird when people say this.
LOL
Just when I was thinking they wouldnt bring anything from TAS 2026 this might be the cover car........too right im so in this shit!!!!!!!
Thats because the GR GT was originally revealed as the GR GT Concept...........which was actually a GT3 car "not street legal" no one was sure if they were ever gonna make a street legal version, and we already had the Lexus LFR which people theorized was gonna be the street version......and electric(boooooo!!!!!)........Toyota Racing......Gazoo Racing........whatever they call themselves with this marque eventually revealed that there was going to be a street legal version of their race car with a hot inside V twin turbo V8.
The news theres a street legal version isnt that old.....like maybe a month or so.
And alot of these exotic cars do end up not actually being street legal......see RB17 and FXXK.
