could be really cool. I was hoping for London, though.

I've only just started Gay Tony, but I'm really digging the story so far.

L&D started off good but went off into shit-creek once Billy was out of the picture half-way through, before the story ended with the biggest wimper ever. The story had nothing even close to a decent arc or worthwhile payoff. The parts of the city I explored felt totally... well, no, they were good areas, but the way missions had me exploring them were just awful, whereas already BoGT has me seeing heaps of cool areas from interesting angles.

I really like a lot of the character interactions in BoGT so far. I really hope it pays off.

Vied for a tag related to cocks, so here it is.
I think South Africa could probably work pretty good too. But ultimately i just want to go back to the 80s this time.

I vote for Futuristic/dystopia/Fifth Element style GTA5 with Ruby Rhod as the main antagonist.

Set it in 70s Vegas

Make it like the movie Casino where you can either become more like Nicky or Sam. So either you can become an enterprising enforcer that becomes increasingly notorious or you can concern yourself with moving up the business ladder with you ultimately moving above the street so to speak. This would take away from the game play since you'd be running and shooting a lot less if you became more business centric but I'd like them attempt to make it engaging. Have a mini game where you have to decide how many blueberries go in each muffin for example.

Listen to this man!

That sounds awesome, plus you could do missions in the desert which should keep the people who want to drive through wilderness in Buggies and ATV happy (like me)

Yes.

"Agent is a game we have wanted to make for a long time. The team in Edinburgh is doing an amazing job combining intense action, atmosphere, and story in a great period setting to create something that feels quite unique. We cannot wait for people to experience this game."

"We think this has the potential to be yet another great Rockstar North franchise title. ... It's the Houser Brothers and Rockstar North. It's the A team working on an AAA title. I think the subject matter, the characters, the story, the environment, the background--all the elements are there. It's such a rich environment to play in."

I don't think the idea was necessarily bad, I just found the whole thing a bit farfetched, I guess. If that bit of the mission followed a series of Lost related missions, it could have been cool, but all the Ashley/Ray/Elizabeth and other late game missions were just so... pointless, I guess. The story just didn't go anywhere.

I wanted to like Klebitz, but in the end he didn't really do anything particularly endearing or conclusive, you know? He just kind of... existed and then didn't.

It's hard to articulate. It felt like a story that had its beginning written with no consideration for where it was actually going to end. The characters seemed written based on an interesting premises rather than interesting arcs, with the exception of Billy. Maybe that was the point?

But, that being said, its story was still, in many ways, more interesting than a whole lot of other current gen titles.

One of best features of San Andreas was the map variation. Europe whould be a great setting, big cities, narrow streets, damm pretty countryside, mafia, venice (boats), small towns... Lots of potential, hope R* dont take the safe way and just do more of the same.

Care to explain or this is one of those hit and run posts?

I think his statement is pretty self-explanatory. It's basically like saying the main character has to be white so "everyone" can relate to it. Everyone that buys GTA doesn't live in America the same way everyone that buys GTA isn't white.

One more vote for Brazil!!! Beautiful women, gorgeous vistas contrasted with dirty slums and dangerous back alley way dealings. It would be like GTA: City of God. They start with your childhood as you just try to survive the slums of Sao Paulo all the way to your adulthood when you make it big living in the high rises of Rio dealing with the problems that money brings.

Not true!
He beat up and scared the shit (literally!) out of Roman, which endeared him to me. Best part of the GTA4 experience.

Earlier today, twitter investigator, @supererogatory posted some info about the new GTA game. While she didn't post the information explicitly, she did point out where you could find the information. For those who aren't interested in digging, this is a possible list of parts that might be in the new GTA game

Mitch Hayes:
38 – Annoying, wise cracking, highly successful FBI agent. In great shape. Does triathlons, drinks low cal beer, but still has a sense of humor.

Miguel Gonzalez:
25 Young Mexican American FBI agent, caught between a few mob bosses. Very clean cut

Clyde:
23 – Moronic, almost inbred and creepy white trash hillbilly. Very naïve but in a creepy ‘it’s only incest sort of way’

Brother Adam:
Welsh monk / cult leader / yoga teacher – 50, very lithe, very into exploring your personal tension through gripping massage. Needs Welsh accent.

Mrs Avery:
Neurotic soccer mom, home maker, 48, anxious and addled on pain killers. Very angry at neighbor MRS Bell.

Mrs Bell:
Swinger, and mellow Californian divorcee. 45. Ugly but comfortable with self.

Eddie:
47 – Weed evangelist, guy who started smoking at 30, and is now a leading proponent of marijuana’s fantastic properties. White, awkward.

Ira Bernstein:
56 – publicist for an actress known as America’s newest sweetheart who just so happens to love animals, orphans, drugs and sex. He’s always trying to hide her latest indiscretion.

Kevin De Silva:
18 – Albert’s fat, FPS playing gamer son. Smokes a lot of weed, has anxiety issues and a card for a bad back, very soft, very opinionated. Into making racist comments while playing online.

Harut Vartanyan:
42-52 years old – Armenian car dealer, moneylender, would be Fagin and would be bully. Heavily connected to the underworld, but irritates people so much no one likes him.

Nervous Jerry:
48 – paranoiac living in the sticks, near Simon, completely paranoid, and terrified of Simon.

Calvin North:
55 – clapped out FBI agent who now mostly works offering advice on TV shows – whose only claim to fame turns out to be entirely false – but a decent guy in other ways. Badly dressed. Divorced. Putting on weight.

Jerry Cole:
53 – disabled IT expert and criminal information vendor.

Rich Roberts:
English hardman actor, 35, who acts tough but who wants to do serious work - the only problem is he can't quite read the words.

Alex:
white 52 yr old loosie goosie hippy rich guy who has lost his money and is getting desperate but trying not to.

Scarlet:
45-52 years old – unshaven female spiritualist and hippy with a love of exploring the wilderness. Very into journeys.

Chad:
29 – pretty boy misogynist Beverly Hills party boy. Made money, but not as cool as he thinks he is.

Tae Wong:
39 – somewhat incompetent Chinese mobster, loves doing ecstasy, going to raves.

Taes Translator:
45 - VERY STRAIGHT LACED Chinese translator, terrified of his boss’s dad. Male, awkward. Needs to speak Chinese.

If rumours are to be believed, the game will be set in LA.

I like the Vegas idea

Obviously fictionalized and exaggerated though (like Vice City is to Miami or Liberty City is to New York)

That's a lot of FBI agents, Main character part of the FBI? Or is that straying too close to LA Noir?

Wouldn't it be called San Andreas?

Or Los Santos, depending on the scope. San Andreas was just San Francisco in the first one.

As much as I love GTA: VC and VCS I don't feel like running around in Miami yet again. Also really don't like the idea of it being set in Europe or especially the distant past or future (more than 60 years).

San Andreas = California
Los Santos = Los Angeles
San Fierro = San Francisco
Las Venturas = Las Vegas

FBI is the go-to federal agency for all lazy TV shows, movies and games. Meanwhile DHS, DEA, ATF, and the Secret Service are extremely underused.

As much fun as it would be, I rather that it is almost certain that it will be centered around a major american city and not something more exotic. Everything else is too far from what the main narrative of the games are: satire of life/crime in america.

San Andreas also includes Nevada.

I predict 75 per cent of the next 100 posts in this thread will involve people blurting out random locations on the planet, including some past GTA cities.

It should be based on a time travelling ATF agent in New Orleans.

Man, I wish they kept 5 (or whatever this will be called) for next-gen and kept putting out Episodes for GTA IV.

Damn you fools for not buying them!
