Apart from these two features, the developer didn’t mention anything else. However, he did confirm that PS Plus Premium will run parallel with the base PS Plus. Sony isn’t attending E3 2019 so we expect PS Plus Premium details during a State of Play stream or at PlayStation Experience 2019.

Meanwhile, the reveal of PlayStation 5 will be in Q2, 2019 claims the developer. The PS5 reveal will be minor, probably a tease, he says. PlayStation 5 release date is set in March or November 2020.

Interesting idea. PSN is a large part of PlayStation revenue and extending the pricing strategy on the high end for beta access seems like a pretty decent idea.

I hope it doesn't degrade the regular service by reducing or eliminating chances to get into betas though.

No chance of a reveal in these next three months especially if it's not releasing until March or November 2020. Personally, I don't see Sony even mentioning PlayStation 5 until February 2020 at the earliest. Simply no reason for them to do so. Small reveal in February 2020 and full blowout at E3 2020. I prefer Sony to go straight to E3 2020 and skip the small reveal.

In "How To Share Games on PS4" fashion, MS is already filming their "How to join an Xbox Beta" and "How to set up a private server" with standard Xbox Live Gold Youtube videos. Any sort of PS+ Premium price hike will see MS introducing XBL Platinum that includes Gamepass for the same price. Only way this would not be public opinion suicide is if PS+ drops to $20-$30/yr for strictly online access, and Premium stays at $60 with free games and these betas/private server as value adds. There is no way they think this could justify a presumed $80-$100/yr sub, it's unfathomably stupid.

I’d like to see that if you have plus consecutively from Jan to June or even Jan to Jan that Sony then gives you that first Jans games to keep permanently as it rewards the player and Sony by keeping people paying indefinitely.

So after the first 6 or 12 months each month thereafter you will be rewarded with previous games you were ‘renting’.

PS plus is the biggest scam ever period. Live was a scam also but I feel there are always good deals where theres never a ps plus deal. Gamepass brings allot of value and I always get deals like $1 for a month of live or something like that. Just logged on to get a 3 month game pass for $1 today. My last Live dea was $15 for 6 months which is not bad. Never get anything like that from Sony.

I don't beleive in paying for free online. But I just got liek my 3rd ps4 pro. I cave get one every year for MLB The Show when games are slow and that one game can take me through summer. I can't pull the trigger on psplus. $40 or $9 a month. Just wasted money. I am thinking about returning my PS4 because of this. Just because I have a Switch, XB1x and I don't want to pay 3 service fees for online.
