I can see Dec 15th, but Dec. 29th doesn't make sense. Probably a placeholder since it's the last available date in 2017, as other have pointed out above.

Dec 15th would be fine by me. I don't think this is the type of game that will get a lot of purchases from Black Friday so I don't think that have to worry about getting it out sooner. Also currently no First Party scheduled for December so it makes some sense.

Xenoblade is a larger brand in the West than in Japan, so why couldn't it be released at the same time worldwide?
