Give me a full-blown Japanese business management sim Yakuza 7 spin-off starring Eri-chanIt’s too soon for Yakuza 9. I definitely think another Judgment could be possible. Or hey, maybe even something completely new. That would be fun.
I have made it no secret that I would be 10000000% down with spin off games based on some of the minigames. I think it would be a fun way to flesh out the world, too. Dondoko Island could be its own game. Dear GOD I want more Hostess Management. Set in the 1980s, taking on local hostess clubs before going all the way up to Osaka, and Kyoto head to heads. Throw in some series cameos, and you got yourself a hot new spin off.
I'd be down for something like this. A genuine hero's quest for Ichiban feels like sort of wish fulfilment for him. After everything he's done and gone through, I feel like an easygoing adventure is a good reward. I think it could be a fun Ichiban: Gaiden. The dopest thing that could happen (which is why it will never happen) would be for RGG Studio to genuinely make a fantasy RPG with Ichiban as the protagonist (he can get hit in the head and imagine all of it while being in the hospital or so) and use Dragon Quest for real as the setting. And they should call it "Like A Dragon Quest". I bet Yuji Horii would be on board.

This could easily play out as a VR game. There's already some precedent for this in Judgment with Paradise VR.
The setup could be something like.. Ichiban is bored now that everything has wound down, and laments not having played a game in a long time. Adachi mentions that he used to really like Hang-on and Nanba says that he spent a lot of time playing Space Harrier. Ichiban remarks how they are both out of touch and wants to play an RPG like Dragon Quest. Saeko comments that Ichiban is the one that's out of touch, thinking about an old game like that; and if he really wanted to play an exciting game, he could get in touch with Makoto Tsukumo,
who Saeko and Nanba have already met.
Tsukumo then gives Ichiban a handful of VR headsets, and Ichiban badgers Adachi, Nanba, and Saeko into joining him, and... boom.
I could come up with these all day. RGG Studio go ahead and call me. Front desk has me in the last twelve pages of their call logs.

Dude I've been thinking about that game for a while now. Got it on my fhelf but I don't want to bring the PS3 out of storage to play it. Could be real fun again.
NOW!
I love this post, that was my favorite minigame so far from the franchise. Just so addicting from start to finish plus a great side story and waifu. Her mom/granny were funny too. Always kept her in my party.Give me a full-blown Japanese business management sim Yakuza 7 spin-off starring Eri-chan

They've DLC like this in Japan for some time now. Now that everything is a simultaneous worldwide launch everybody else gets to feel the full brunt of their DLC practices lolTo be honest, I think they are starting to overdo things. This business about asking if there should be celebs isn't a good sign. I still like the games, but they are not making cool collector's items anymore along with the way they have been doing DLC is kinda lame too.
Here's the livestream link. It starts in a couple of hours from now.

yeah, i wish i could just see something different from them at this point. i still haven't played infinite wealth because im not sure im ready for another game like that again. i enjoyed the man who changed his name, but i had my fill after that for a whileI can’t say I’m too excited. I’ve been a huge fan of the series but I feel like they have been putting out way too many the last few years.
Look...a beach existed in Yakuza 3 near the orphanage.....there's a chance brosYakuza 3 kiwami
