I'm not sure most of us wanted him fired. We were all hoping they would find a nice compromise after the Wii - between casual and core.

That's what the NX I believe will try and do. It won't go too far into lifestyle territory like the Wii did at times, nor will it be too complex and demanding for it's own good like the Wii U. A better balance is what Nintendo needs right now.
