Sea of Thieves developer Rare went on Reddit to announce that there will be a Sea of Thieves tabletop roleplaying game coming out. The British developer is collaborating with Mongoose Publishing who is known for creating other tabletop games like Traveller. In the game Rare says players will be ”fighting skeletons, uncovering buried gold, and hunting down a deceitful captain!”
Included with game players will receive “three books to get you voyaging quickly, a full set of tokens and cards to help manage your equipment and treasure, eighteen Legendary Dice, Pirate Ledgers to help keep track of your own pirate, and a giant poster map of the Sea of Thieves.” Players additionally will receive the Lord Guardian Sails for the actual game of Sea of Thieves for PC and Xbox.
