And this is why you don't just accept live service trash because the negatives start to make other companies take a step back and realize that it isnt the way. The rejection of all these games I think is finally making a dent
There was a thread last week that explains it - Japanese companies just completely non-competitive in live service games against Chinese (they don't have money or manpower of latter and have issues with skills availability, especially in areas like animation), so they have no choice but shrink and go for whatever they can offer
Sega finally seeing the light. If everyone chases after GaaS then someone will need to give it in as not everyone can be a winner following that model.
