Your reason to not hate on Germany is sausage and beer but then you say we should hate one of the countries with the finest cuisine in the world? Sacré bleu.

France has no culture. The only thing they do is surrender. And make shitty cars.

The notion that playing or making a NSFW mod is disrectpectful to women is absolutely ridiculous. but then again, wearing sexy outfits for combat was disrepectful according to MK devs, so maybe it is and we live in crazy land.

I suggest you take a moment to reflect on your actions today. Maybe go outside, get some fresh air. When was the last time you did that? Take some breadcrumbs, feed the ducks. Life's too short. Do you know what I mean?

Still standing and seemingly I had the last laugh. So whatever.
This thread really doesn't make you look good, dude. All you've done is insult people and make grandiose claims about how awesome your "respect" for women is. You've utterly failed to form a coherent argument as to why dressing virtual women in sexy outfits or playing as them nude is bad, why objectifying fake women is bad and how doing so affects real world women.

Maybe you should have spent more time having a conversation and actually debating and less time shit posting.

Is there not a mod that puts her in her original outfit from the old game?

I initially wondered how a 'nude mod thread' got to four pages. Figured it was due to poor modding but clearly the mod is stellar but some silly fool decided to white knight it instead. Comedy gold

Who cares what modders do? Jesus, hope the white knights in this thread never look at fallout or elder scrolls mods. They might die from outrage due to those poor digital women being objectified.

Some of you would want artists arrested for merely thinking about putting women they draw in sexy outfits. Maybe look up the book 1984 and ask yourself if you are the baddies?

not being offended by nude mods is also compatible with the judgement that most of those costumes are tacky. if you aren't putting those mods on for luls you're probably better off just looking at fan art porn of those characters

So the people arguing against this, what is your stance on porn?

Is it okay because it's made to be sexy or is it simply changing something to be sexy makes it morally objectionable.

Also what about the 1 billion dollars a year that romance novels make, that's cool too right because its in a book? As soon as it's in a video game it suddenly becomes the shame of the century.

Ooh, #1 from the playbook. "Why don't you just look at porn?". Next will be "It's pathetic jerking off to pixels." Then "You should leave your mom's basement and have sex with a real woman." Those two are usually used to group all gamers together as "bad for women", which then leads to #4, "Only an incel/pedophile would enjoy this."

It's so fucking boring. I can't tell which is worse. That you consider your comment to be valid criticism or that you think anybody cares that you believe yourself to be better than everybody else. Obviously, I'm better than everybody else, and I like me some Lara Croft boobies, so on the social hierarchical chart of alpha male normalization of sexy things, that means it is okay.

You realize life is not just two extremes grasshopper.
I don't know what extreme grasshoppers have to do with anything, but let's assume explicitness is on a scale of burka to German Goo Girl. Somewhere along this line is your GAWD DYAMN Spot, or G-spot for short, and it is where you can't help biting your bottom lip and go, "GAWD DYAMN, that's fine". Show us where your G-spot is.

This is an absolute embarrassment. What sort of incel neckbeard would actually want to play the game this way.
I'm married for nearly 2 decades, 2 kids.
Not sure if I still qualify as incel (I've heard JP is an incel, so perhaps), but no neckbeard definitely.

For the record, I don't agree with objectifying men's bodies either. This is a societal issue facing both genders. It's depressing and damaging that the gaming industry is still living in the dark ages on this front. Or at least the world of AAA games. The indie space is thankfully better.
You may need to go back in time a bit, to when all that "objectifying" concept was shaping up:
Feminist sex wars

There is nothing wrong with letting people have sexual objects. There is no research whatsoever to support claims stating it's otherwise, at best it is a chain of dubious conjectures, an opinion.

Female version of "objectifications" (as far as male body goes, focuses on torso) of that kind are also quite present, just normally less visual.

Video games are art. Reducing it to such base perversion is a defilement.
Would you elaborate what is "pervertion" in, e.g., this case (just literally duckduckgo-ed 'cosplay')

ryuko_matoi_cosplay__synchronized_senketsu_by_khainsaw-d7bqnpr.jpg

No different than painting a nude body on the Mona Lisa because “you’re a red blooded man who likes to watch tits.”

Those of us objecting to this do not do so to be “cute” or to appear “better” or to “virtue signal”.

We do it to make clear a point that should already be crystal clear at this point of our debate...YOU...DO NOT...REPRESENT...US...
Would you mind to elaborate, who doesn't represent you and exactly what is your point?
Is there anything beyond "someone convinced us it is somehow harmful to women, so we object to it"? If so, please share it.

DAMN you punctuation!

The gspot for me is much more of a summit than just a spot. It's much better appreciated with a slow build as you climb up rather than being teleported to the top. Also context is everything, and it just doesn't fit in gaming for me. But I'm not judging those who like it. Just not my thing man. But if I had to pick ...

"Your ilk"? Can you actually quote me saying that, or implying that:
-"We" own this forum
-You don't have a right to voice your viewpoint
-You *must* go along with what "we" say
-I can't handle dissenting views

Please don't bulk me in with others. you're either massively mistaken to have quoted my in that post or my mere responding to you has rustled your jimmies showing that you, in fact, can't handle opinions that go against your own.

Nah. Backtracking and rationalisation after the fact. Your quote is and remains one of the most disrespectful things said about women in this thread. You gotta carry that weight, bro.

My post was not directed at you. I just forgot to delete you from the thread.

Did you press "report" and explain what's wrong? (at the moment no staffer looks online, but normally they someone is there. I've reported 3 or so times and it ended up with bans. It should be more than "I feel triggered/offended" though)

I can write that in crayon if it helps.

I'm just wondering who it is you represent and how you got elected to be the spokesperson for said group?
