A forum of video game enthusiasts who constantly complain about the quality of video games and who, when given an opportunity to improve a game, can imagine no addition beyond naked tits is pathetic.

It would also be great to be able to more openly share my love of gaming in all areas of my life but it’s pretty hard to do that when the hobby is constantly associated with this stuff. Having to explain or defend this stuff to non gamers I would love to become gamers is just embarrassing.

If people want to masturbate to digital images more power to them but we need some basic standards of decorum enforced. If posting this is fine, can we post vids of the many porn games on Steam as well? Can we just post porn hub videos outright as examples of the animations we hope to see?Where is the line exactly?

I can do one if needed. It's not like it's not allowed, if you read the rules, as long as you're not posting nudity. People don't do review threads on those porn games because generally if it's a pure porn game, they'd just masturbate to it and it'll likely lack very much in terms of gameplay or story to describe. This thread, however, is about sexy mods and the fact that there exists a nude mod for Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
Now, I can understand that you find it embarrassing, but this is a clearly marked thread and unless you're such a nerve wreck, that merely the small text saying "nude mod 25 sexy outfits nsfw" is enough to make you embarrassed to introduce people to gaming, then I wonder how you'd introduce someone to the internet. The existence of some's display of sexual interest or titillating interest shouldn't really be an affront to you when you have all opportunities to not engage in it. Unless of course, it's the mere existence of it that bothers you.


I should note to you that people don't use these mods to masturbate. Nor do they watch titillating things to masturbate to it. They tend to like the small amount of sexual stimuli and the sense of brash fun that's brought from less explicit sexual displays or from even full nudal display. I gotta say, this is really pathetic at this point, it doesn't have anything to do with respecting women, you just don't want to look bad with your friends because you're so pretentious you want to appear smart to everyone, I wonder how old are you because that's a very juvenile attitude. I think most of the men on this board admit freely to viewing porn. They aren't ashamed of it, and in fact, it seems quite a few of them are proud of it. Heck, a couple posts ago, I mentioned German Goo Girls, safe in the knowledge that most people were going to get the reference. Sure, there's a line for NeoGAF, but threads like the butt thread certainly push it. Personally, that line is the part of the playground that has the best slides.

I think it's an accessibility thing. I'd love to see reviews of porn games, personally, but I just don't think there's enough interest in it due to the ones most deserving of it being anime-style visual novels (which has a rather small audience for English speakers). There's a bunch of games that originally started out as porn games (like Muv-Luv and Utawarerumono) that are honestly amazing, even after having the more explicit scenes removed from the console versions. If you think that porn games can't be good games, then your prejudice is keeping you from truly amazing experiences.
