I like the idea, and i'm sure its very funny (and terrifying) at the same time, but if thats all you do then it's going to be a very short experience. with not to much replay value (I'll still get it though)

Makes my idea about being a cleaner wrasse so much better. Hell make it a management fame where you have to deal with different "customers" with different fish such as Tang and Sea turtles, home calls with Moray and Manta rays and having to root out false cleaner wrasse trying to infiltrate your "business".

This looks… fuckin lame. This looks like one of those shitty salon mobile games you see. Inb4 we see mobile ads for the shark getting dumped by her boyfriend and left for a young mako only for the protag to give her an ugly haircut, bad teeth, unflattering dress and covered in mud.

Also: not wearing gloves or a mask? Got what she deserved tbh. Worst part of the "trailer"

Imagine thinking up this game.... For an animal that loses and regrows 40 thousand teeth in its life.

What idiot did this.....

It's one of those attempts at becoming a meme game that will sell trillions for a few weeks before everyone forgets about it.

The funny thing about this concept to me is that sharks constantly lose and regrow their teeth. They'd never need a dentist. Then again, they also can't breath out of water, so all of this is purely fantasized.

You are a shark dentist, and you'll need to do all kinds of work on this monster's mouth before you're done. Better make sure you get the anasthetic dose right or you may lose a hand. Fix faulty lighting, fetch supplies from cabinets in the back, and much more, while avoiding the business end of all those sharp teeth. Shark Dentist is coming soon to Steam, so wishlist now.

Get a fresh look at Shark Dentist in this new gameplay trailer for the upcoming horror roguelike game. See some of the tools you'll use as you clean sharks' teeth and try your best not to get chomped (it'll probably happen anyway). Take on the role of a shark dentist, where your task is to treat the teeth of giant predators in a dark clinic while avoiding their deadly aggression. Balance tactics, luck, and limited resources to heal your patient without losing your own life. Shark Dentist will be available on PC.

Goddammit, I was really into this until I saw roguelike. I'm done with this genre completely, and it's just so played out at this point and who has time for all the runs required of a roguelike anymore?

Bummer. Oh well.

Do sharks get cavities?
from google AI

Why Sharks Don't Get Cavities:
  • Natural Fluoride Coating: Shark teeth are covered in a material called fluorapatite, which is highly resistant to acid.
  • Constant Regeneration: Sharks have multiple rows of teeth and can replace lost teeth quickly, with some species growing a new set every few weeks.
  • No Cavity-Causing Food: Their diet generally does not include the sugar-heavy, processed foods that cause decay in humans.

My question was a rhetorical joke, but I appreciate your sincerity.
