If I open it, I can't return it.

But I'm intrigued by it, anyway. Never have played it. Worried that I will hate it and will have to ebay it for less than returning it to Wally World.

What if it's my kinda game, though?

If you're into multiplayer, I think you'll love it. If you're going to play it mainly for the SP experience, don't bother.

I played the SP and I didn't care for it.

I'm not expecting the SP to be the BEST THING EVER, of course. Is it at least somewhat solid, like, a Raven Software "solid, but not great" level of quality? Or does it just plain suck? Lastly, how is co-op?

Supposedly co-op saves the SP from being total ass. You should just play it that way.

I've got a mate who's been bugging me to do co-op PD0. So I guess I'm set.

If you open it, you could very well return it. I bought DOA4 the other day, and ended up not being able to get all that into it. I took it to WalMart today with the receipt, and went to the customer service desk and just asked if I could return it. The Person said no, then paused, and told me to wait for a minute. She got a manager, and they said that because of a policy change for games, CDs, etc... that people could now return opened items if they have a receipt, and get the money put on a gift card.

They did it for me, then I used the card to buy Condemned.

I don't know if they were just full of it, or what, but that's what happened to me at least.

Why not try calling your local store, and ask them about all of this?
