For any reason of collecting or that a game does not go on American or European territory. It is only found in certain countries and is never seen in stores or other places.

Actually i have this.

I have the PAL Australian release of Secret of Mana SNES complete mint in box. Not super super rare, but going up in price. Cartridges going for $90-100 and boxed anywhere from $200-$300. I got it for about $30 plus shipping. Will post a pic later.

What a pain it was getting some of these to complete the collection of each series. Just look at the Amazon prices now.

Michelangelo painted the Sistine Chapel. Yabuki turned off voice chat in Mario Kart races. True artists of their time.
I have Conker's Bad Fur Day (NA version)

My dad bought me it when I was just a wee lad :ROFLMAO: when I went with him to Fry's

I recently found a real copy of it for $60 at a game store. Which was the maximum I was going to ever pay for it since that was basically the price of a new 64 game. Seems to be back up to $80 or more now. Why I never got it back then I don't know. Either way my 64 collection feels complete at last.

I've got a NA version of Project Justice that I just kind of picked up from Gamestop for a pretty small sum back in the day. Kind of sad that my, likely, most valuable game is one that I'm not a huge fan of.

I have a few Big Box PC games that i really like the first is Blade runner by Westwood great adventure game ( RIP westwood fuck EA ) , with i beleive 12 diffrent endings . Definatley a forgotten classic.
wGiEEEzh.jpg

second is Planescape Torment , just the greatest story ever told in gaming , it puts most AAA story telling to shame even today. I picked this big box copy up with a free planescape novel by Ray & Valerig Vallese aswell.

My Favorite is this Everquest Trilogy big box , it as Everquest , Ruins of Kunark and scars of veilous expansions. also 100+ page manuel a map and two everquest miniatures.

Excellent Choice!!

I Miss to buy Rain for ps3 physical version =(. I have Fatal Frame II in USA and Latin America Version, I never find Fatal Frame in Xbox Version New.

Of course Resident evil 2 and 3 are too rare in the Gamecube version... actually the price is huge in this version.

Recently picked up all the non-BC 360 launch titles off ebay just because. Tony Hawk's American Wasteland and Need for Speed Most Wanted seemed to be the rarest of the bunch. So probably those 2 since I sold off most of my good ones in the past.

I don't really keep an eye on old games I have that are considered rare. Certainly I'd say I haven't got anything rare from after PS2.

I'd guess my most rarest might be a boxed copy of Tomb Raider on the Sega Saturn. Many people don't even realise it came out on the Saturn. It's not in great nick but there you go.

Oh I got tons, but if I had to narrow it down in terms of quality balanced with preserved condition, this would have to be it:

Even back in 1990 I knew it was going to be special.

I'm not sure whether or not the first Final Fantasy game is "special", as the later releases trump the previous ones. Hell, even Wizardry and Ultima were better RPGs than NES Final Fantasy.

Darkstalkers Resurrection, Japan physical import.

Queen's Gate Spiral Chaos, Japan import.

Metroid Prime Trilogy

Devil's Third

Shantae and the Pirate's Curse 3DS physical

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 PS4 physical

Capcom vs. SNK Pro PS1 I think

King of Fighters 98 Ultimate Match PS2 I think

Skies of Arcadia Legends

Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snakes

Resident Evil 2 and Code Veronica gamecube

Not sure how rare they are, but got Zelda OoT, Twilight Princess, and Wind Waker on gamecube.

Dragon Warrior III GB
Dragon Warrior 1+2 GB

Final Fantasy V and VI GBA (they seem pretty rare anyway)

King of Fighters EX2

Metal Slug Advance

Not sure if these 3 GBA games are rare.
Contra Advance, Spyro The Eternal Night, and Super Gunstar Heroes.

Not rare itself, but I do have a copy of BlazBlue CT Limited Edition signed by Noel's voice actress Cristina Vee.

Probably have some more pretty rare stuff, but that's all I can think of off the top of my head without doing research.

Dragon Warrior VII for sure, but who knows with the 3DS port. Its like with Xenoblade Chronicles and its 3DS port. Before the 3DS port of VII it was hard to find.

Xenogears was around $70-$100 for the non-greatest hits version back in 2005/2006. I felt like the price went down when it came out digitally. Threads of Fate was $40-$50 before it was released digitally. Its like Final Fantasy VII non-greatest hits. The game was worth more before it was released digitally. Brand new they're worth quite a bit. Now a days you'll find things worth so much than you would expect. Worms 64 sells for over $200 and I saw Bomberman 64 for over $100 at local game store. They were also trying to sell that Master Chief Halo 3 helmet for a little over $70. I think its hard to find Dragon Warrior VII and Xenogears non-greatest hits is worth owning regardless.

You must mean Bomberman 64: The Second Attack. I sold the manual of that game for a bunch and it wasn't even in good shape.

Yeah that was it. It was behind their display case. I remember the label on it was worn, so the most I could make out was Bomberman.

With games like Mario 64, Zelda on 64, and Goldeneye; local stores love getting copies because I'm sure most of them are going to sell. They'll net at least $20 cash loose. I'm not entirely sure on the rarity of other 64 games except The Second Attack and Worms Armageddon 64 are super expensive.

Local stores will still rip you off. You know another thing that's rare is that PS2 memory card adapter for PS3. I had that thing and now I see it going for at least $80 used.

I miss the Sega Saturn, owned most the rare games including, Panzer Dragoon Saga and all other Saturn RPGS released in America, Burning Rangers, Sonic Jam, House of the Dead and many others, My brother and I owned about 80 Saturn games including the Capcom fighting, He sold it all to be able to afford an x-box 360, At the time I was out of gaming, but I loved the Sega Saturn more than the Dreamcast or PS1.

I sold mine (PAL Panzer dragoon Saga, Shining Force, Burning Rangers, all sorts of now rare odds and ends, and the console was region modded) to buy a Dreamcast. I was 16 and got a full time job 2 weeks later. As much as I love the Dreamcast, I really wish I'd just waited

I don't even know what's rare but I bet I have some stuff. Some that I'm sure are worth something are:

Original Mike Tyson's Punch Out for NES
Legend of Zelda gold cart for NES
Suikoden II for PS1

I got this old school game. Super rare apparently.

That's super-rare now? I have that. I have like 80 old SNES games...

I had a Beta Version of Virtua Tennis for the arcade (Naomi). Sold it in college for money though.

Rarest game I prob have is Street Fighter EX2+ USA Ver for the arcade.

Arcade games count too right?

I stopped collecting and sold off a lot of my vintage stuff so I don't really have anything super rare. Last gen I got into purchasing region free shmups for the 360 and a few of them are now quite rare I believe. Glad I bought them when I did because it would probably be a pain in the ass hunting them down today on the used market.

I haven't been able to break my habit and it has since carried over to the PS4.
