Smaller and lesser know games you play that others may never have heard of

I love some of these smaller games that are perfect for sitting back, listening to some music or watching a podcast/stream, or whatever floats your boat. What games are you into right now that some might not know about?

Here are some of my favorites these last few years, all of them on Steam:

Mashinky
- A railroad tycoon game made by one guy. Heavily inspired by old school Railroad Tycoon.

shapez.io
- A Factorio inspired factory building game, where you transport resources back to your "base". Looks absurdly simple but is very addictive and dirt cheap.

Equilinox
- A simple god game where you place trees and animals around that evolve into new creatures, eventually creating an ecosystem.

Mindustry
- A mix between a tower defense game and a base builder. Looks simple enough but it's well made and addicting.

Empires of the Undergrowth
- Control a colony of ants and take over the undergrowth.

Train Valley 1 & 2
- Great puzzle games with an excellent balance. Connect the rails so the trains go to the right city.

Turmoil
- Extract oil, get money, take over the market.

Tooth and Tail
- Cool creative RTS.

Opus Magnum
- One of the finest puzzle games on the market. Unfortunately, it's one of those games where the screenshots make no sense unless you play it, but it's a helluva game.

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
I loved my time with RimWorld, pretty chilly game to play while you do other things on a second screen. That is until the shit starts hitting the fan and the colony goes to shit in a moment. :')

Kenshi did the same for me. While at times you are exploring or fighting there are a lot of instances when you just can wait, specially at the beggining of the game if you go to mine some ore to make early money. Perfect game to multitask.

I would also love to try Factorio, but I'm kind of scared of getting too hooked to it. :messenger_grinning_sweat:

Edit: OP, you should have posted a gif for Opus Magnum. Haven't played it but it looks very satisfying in a weird way.

Barre Mettle's Exanima, currently in Early Access on Steam and is weeks away from their next giant yearly udpate which comes with an Arena Rework, Procedural Weapons, Item Texture rework and a Global Illumination system that reworks the entire lighting system.

It's one of the most unique games I've ever played and definetly not for everyone, but they're set on making their own vision instead of trying to go for mass appeal so the niche focus is by design. At its core the game is an isometric physics based RPG with two different game modes; A Story mode (12+hrs) where you'll explore an underground dungeon unraveling the mysteries of the world and an Arena mode (Sandbox infinite play) where you'll build up a team of combatants and take part in various bouts and earn riches to equip your team
