First, let me just say that I love the Vita. I think it's a fantastic system with a lot of potential. Hopefully, with the right business management, it can grow to prosper as a successful console one day.
When I bought a Vita, I felt like I was doing it more to make a point, rather than buying it because I really wanted one. I thought, hey Sony needs my help here, and I love Sony, so let me show them some support. I bought one before the PS1 support/PS+ was patched in, so I was mainly playing Hot Shots Golf and Gravity Rush. The wait for something more to show up wasn't bothering me, mainly because I was distracted by PC/Console games.
Fast forward a year later, and I feel like its time to move on. I've watched the 3DS get so many amazing games these past couple months, and the forecast looks even better. The Vita just hasn't found its footing yet. I hope it does though. I'll be more than happy to buy one again if/when Sony turns it around.
I'll be buying the 3DS-XL Animal Crossing bundle. Having never played an Animal Crossing game, I'm excited to see what all the fuss is about.
