Is that the right term in english? My dad lives in his house with my brother (40yo) and his girlfriend. The girlfriend has a mentally challenged sister who lived with them for a year or so because the mother was stripped of her rights.
Apparently my dad spent much time with the sister (17yo) and considered her like his daughter or granddaughter. It seems the girl felt close to him, maybe a little too much. She told about the touching to a social worker, admitting she demanded it.

Now my sister-in-law filled a complaint against my father and my mom was summoned today by the cops for hearing about the behavior of my dad when they were still married and such.

I don't really believe this, my dad would normally never do that, but then again a close relationship may be a game changer here.
The cops apparently don't want to hear my point of view on this as they think it would not be relevant but I think someone should tell them that my sister-in-law is a manipulative bitch and may want to capitalize on this to get rid of my dad and claim his share of the house.

So I don't know, I'm thinking about going to the cops. I have strong feelings against my dad as he has hit me a lot in my life but if he didn't do it I won't let him being screwed. Then again after exam the girl is still a virgin and they have no proof other than the girl's words. Any advice?

Get a lawyer and make sure this is investigated thoroughly. This is a serious claim, and if you're father is innocent, make sure to help him.

Um, even if the "touching" was consensual, your dad is still being a creeper and breaking the law. There isn't a single scenario where he touched her sexually without it being illegal.

And he hit you a lot growing up? Sounds like a real stand-up guy.

Either I made up lies about the Boston Bomber or I fell for someone else's crap. Either way, I have absolutely no credibility and you should never pay any attention to anything I say, no matter what the context. Perm me if I claim to be an insider

Yeah, close this thread. You shouldn't have posted this stuff here. Hope everything works out though.

could it be that somehow the sister was not understanding and told it like she interpreted it and the social worker said "thats inappropriate?" there are all sorts of factors in play here. and yes you should have not have posted this here now that I think about it

He doesn't NORMALLY act like this? Wtf?

I meant he would never touch a minor but as I said a close relationship in the long run with a demanding girl could potentially make a man slip once. That would not be the first time we hear of things like this.
That is not to say that I accept it.
Again, I don't believe he did it.

For the love of god go see a therapist.

I'm surprisingly stable for being from a crazy, racist, hmophobic family.

That's a pretty messed up situation. If they have no proof or anything then I am sure nothing will happen but the real question shouldn't be if they got that, but if your dad would actually touch up a mentally challenged 17 year old. Your sister sure also really have to have a strong hate for him to make up such a thing.

Man, please believe me when I say as a lawyer, this thread is a bad idea ask a mod to vaporize it....actually don't as it's destruction of evidence...have them lock the thread and if it's really that hard not to talk go to reddit.

OP what is your meaning of mentally challenged? Like Down's Syndrome or just a little nuts?

Have no worries, OP! Gaf will represent you in the court of law.

I am technically not being implicated in any way, and I don't live with any of them, nor have I seen them for a long time.

Anyway, ok, I didn't really know I asn't allowed to talk about this, and btw it's in a small village in the depth of france, so I don't beleve this thread would come out anywhere, but lock it if you want to. My apologies.

Have Evilore talk to the cops he'll straighten anything out. And if that doesn't work tell them you know Gary Whitta.

I think this man should be given an audience. It sounds like there is a lot you would have to say about your life, I for one would like to listen if you are willing to tell.

Not quite sure why the OP is the one that needs the lawyer.

All he has to do is believe the charges or not, support his dad or not. As noble as it sounds to ensure his dad won't get screwed by the legal system, he of all people is powerless to stop it unless he lies correct?

I didn't take that as it wasn't the first time he heard of things like this for his father. I think he just meant in other cases that you read/hear about.

Isn't the age of consent 15 in France? Is it different for mentally disabled people?

your lesson for the day, never ever talk to the police without a lawyer. It doesn't matter what they tell you or you know you didn't do it and you want to he helpful, always have a lawyer.
