So my fist accidentally hit my WiiU gamepad at full force... repeatedly

Ok, not so accidentally, but anyway, the question is, if anybody knows what the best options are in Europe to get a replacement pad. I'm currently looking at a second hand WiiU for €140. I'm thinking that will be my best bet, since the stories i've heard about Nintendo charging $120 for a new gamepad or for repairs.

Just called Nintendo: €110 if it can be repaired and €170 if it has to be replaced (meaning: a new controller). I think i'll just go with the second hand route. I see a complete WiiU second hand for €140, i think i'll at least be able to get €30 for reselling the console separately, lol.

Is it in warranty? Either way, contact customer service first to see what they'd be willing to do for you before looking for second hand Wii Us.

If you can't manage your anger over a video game and feel the need to get violent/destructive then I think that's a sign to seek professional help. I could understand a child doing this type of thing but an adult should know how to control their emotions better. Bloodborne pisses me off all the time but instead of slamming my PS4 I mutter a few curse words or grip the controller a little tighter for a moment.

Oh I know I've owned Demon, Dark Souls 1 and 2, and Bloodbourne, I think Ive put maybe 2 hours into all of them combined because I know shit will get destroyed if I continue playing. To be fair I haven't smashed shit in a while (long while actually). I just internalize it.

A new gamepad from Nintendo is $120. A refurbished WiiU console from Nintendo is $200. So you could get a new Gamepad but you could also spend $80 more and have an entirely new console for the bedroom or something.

The game that caused it was Mario Kart, and it's been building up for over a week. Endless amount of coins, hit by two blue shells + 5 reds all in the last lap, never getting a decent item when behind... stuff like that. I think i played over 50 games consecutively this week before getting one win. And to be clear, i don't suck at it, usually i'm the fastest (or second fastest) of the group, I just have been getting fucked over the entire week. So, my motives are pure, lol.
