So what do we Vita owners have to look forward to this E3?

Confession. I own 6 Vita's and over 160 physical games alone. :P

Forgive the lack of knowledge but I've only played the one on vita. Celceta I think. Are the listed games you said in regards to the ps4 or vita. Slowly becoming a fan of adol and his amneisac adventures.

Ys Origins is PS4 + Vita (Vita version isn't out yet though)
1-2 are in a collection for PSP
3 is also on PSP
4 (Celceta) is for Vita
VII is for PSP
And VIII is Vita/PS4

All the PSP games are playable on Vita.

Think I found a hole to fall into. From U.K. So hope all the games aren't locked in one region.
Checked and they're all up. Guess I can familiarise myself with the series and understand why some people I know argue over who adol ends up marrying.

Got a new 64gb mem card.

Looking forward to more news about Danganronpa V3, the new Ys, and some new announcements for what could be the Vita's final hurrah before things wind down in 2018. Last game I played was Salt and Sanctuary and some PS1 classic that I haven't finished, now it's hungry for something new.

No "Vita is dead" drive-by posts please, just discussion and friendly speculation for E3.

Any love for the PSP?

Any word on whether Frozen Synapse 2 will be made available on the Vita? Loved Frozen Synapse Prime on the Vita. So far, the sequel is slated for a release this year but only for PC.

Any love for the PSP?

Of course! I put a lot of hours into MHF and Tactics Ogre. I still have yet to play Peace Walker and the GTA games, both are on my list.

I'm not even sure I understand a need for new Vita games at this point.

It would take me a month to play everything installed on my 64GB card, and that's assuming I'm locked in a room with just my Vita, a working toilet, a bed, and a food/water supply. If I'm actually living my life, I'll probably never get through all of it. Maybe 50 years from now, when I'm in a nursing home?

If you're disappointed at how Sony dropped it so quickly, just remember that the volume of what's available on Vita right now is just amazing. It spans 20+ years of content across three platforms and all genres, and it's still portable enough to fit in a pocket. You get everything from epic PS1 JRPGs to modern indies. The Switch may eventually top this, but it will take quite a while.

While I agree with you since I've found a lot of old gems and Japanese niche games (sadly no xenogears because fuck Europe I guess) but i presume it's difficult to justify to those who want the mainstream support. I just realised a number of ys games are available on the pan store so I can see plenty of hours on that series alone.

I have 120+ physical Vita games and nine memorycards (64,32, four 16gb, two 8gb and one 4gb) full of vita games and still I love it when new content is announced. I have more than enough to last a lifetime Vita only haha!

As a proud Vita owner & user, I don't expect any Vita-centric reveals at E3. We are barely getting them at PSX at this point.

I do however expect to see an indie sizzle reel at some point during E3 (if not at the conference itself) and many of those games might be coming to Vita too.

I would LOVE to see they're making a 128GB card, and/or bringing the 64GB card down in price and to the west, or DualShock 4 support, or at least making swapping memory cards more bearable, but I don't see any of this happening at this point.

Oh, and my total longshot hope is they'll announce a Vita 2, which is basically a PS4 Portable. As in an actual fully functioning PS4 in Vita form-factor. A pipe dream for this year, but some day it should be possible...

The only thing missing is a basketball game :(

42 physical for me, 59 total.

I had less than 14 total before Christmas. :)

I expect Phil Spencer to wear a shirt with a picture of a VITA on it, and the word "LIFE" underneath, this year @ E3.

Maybe Sony will show it in a retrospective video along with other legacy stuffs Ps2,PSP at the beginning of the stage show as a sort of "here's how far we have come so far"

It’s hard to know exactly why, but it didn’t garner a large enough audience here for us to continue to build for it.

Well, if i could find a decent sized mem-card for my Vita that's sat in it's box on my shelf i could have a look at some games and let you know, matey.

Sony should know their audience and release a 128GB memory card for 200 bucks. The Vita is a otaku console at this point and they should cultivate it as such.
