So, whats the best upcoming titles for 360?

I love my 360, it gave me countless hours of fun.
But after this e3, I'm a bit let down. We knew about most of the big titles (Reach, Fable 3, gears) shown at the conference and I scrolling over some release lists, I'm a bit sceptical about the upcoming lineup.
I think the only titles i really want are Fable 3 and MGS Rising.
I dont know whats coming on XBLA, so maybe there are some surprise titles for me.

And Connect, yeah that isnt really for me. I was hyped, but you know the shown line up.

So.. before I sell my 360 out of dissappointment, I need a little hype.
Multiplat or exclusive, it doesnt matter.
I am just not interested in most of the shooters, I am sick of shooters. Is there something that i could look forward to?

Seriously, if Child of Eden doesn't give you butterflies in your stomach, you might as well check you pulse because YOU'RE PROBABLY DEAD.

Don't let the E3 conference get you down. The games you're interested in just weren't a huge focus of that show. The games will come, regardless what the media covered at E3.

Deus ex 3
Assassins Creed Bloodlines
Mafia 2
Crackdown 2
Rockband 3
Halo Reach
Marvel vs Capgod 3
Crysis 2
LA Noir
Portal 2
Child of Eden
Castlevania LoS

Xbla:
Shank
Monday Night Combat
Dust
Limbo

I agree there is much more to the 360 then the confrence showed, however most of the first party resources (What's left at this point) are working on Kinetic games.

Since I have no interest in Halo, Gears or Fable, it does really leave me a bit dry in the exclusive department. Regardless I'll probably end up buying the 360 version of a multiplatform game unless it ends up being the inferior version.

No Portal 2 for 360 right? That's one big loss for me...

im sure there will be portal 2. its just that they try to make the ps3 better, to make up for the horrible orange box on ps3

No, Portal 2 is coming for 360.

I think Portal 2 is still being released on 360, however it looks like Valve will be putting a bit more effort into the PS3 version this time (Must have been a sizeable money hat to change their tune that quickly, or MS with their overly closed platform just really pissed them off)

I think you mean that by putting more effort in they are doing the port themselves rather than allowing EA to farm it out. So it's really just getting the same effort as the 360 port.

The Portal 2 thing is really simple, there were no moneyhats involved. The PS3 version will ship with Steamworks, meaning quicker updating and quicker access to additional content. I don't think there will be any other significant differences.

The reason why only the PS3 version supports that is Microsoft's stricter online policy. As far as I know, every Xbox 360 patch and content update has to go through certification with Microsoft before it's published. So Steamworks integration is simply not logistically possible. The 360 will get all the same patches and (probably) all the same content as the PS3 version, but they will be arriving slightly later.

Every year the 360 alone it seems get this thread. Not even Wii owners need as much asureance and many of them often complain about third party support.

I'm looking forward to Fez
I dunno if it will be good or not though
I think the game jumping from 2D to 3D and back would make a great experience for the 3DS. (I'm not so fon of the 3D glasses and TVs) :p

Back on topic, I'm eagerly awaiting Fez, Limbo, Capzised and Vanquish

To be honest, I'm not terribly excited about the retail games coming to the PS360, but their digital lineups are incredible.

360 usually gets this thread in the months before E3 and then MS announce some games and everybody shuts up. This year is different in that MS didn't announce anything for this holiday season apart from Kinect casual stuff.

It has Halo Reach AND Fable 3.....there's never going to be "more" in a holiday season from Microsoft than two huge games.

Agreed, Reach is going to be boss. I feel damn lucky that we're even getting that game. I thought it was going to be a long time before Bungie tried their hand at another Halo after the last one.

I'm looking forward to Crackdown 2, Fable III, Kinect Adventures, Kinect Sports, Dance Central, and Child of Eden.

I suppose Portal and Vanquish, but I have no idea when either are actually coming out...

Lineup wasn't too impressive this year.
Portal is delayed to 2011, Vanquish is coming this October.

Nope. Gabe himself said that the PS3 Version will be the best version on consoles...

Because it will possibly have cross-platform play with PC, use Steamworks for patching and mostly likely DLC that will then be free. If they could do those on Xbox, then I am sure they would (and no they won't go through Games for Windows Live to get cross-platform play with Xbox). I doubt visuals will be any different between the two platforms.

Fixed.

I said the PS3 would have the best version of that game. I've never said anything about the graphics.

Child of Eden is going to be life changingly awesome, and although it's a little laggy, if you have a massive TV, I think it'd be fun with Natal.

Wait, Child of Eden is 360 exclusive? And it isn't an online title?

It's also on the PS3 and I believe it's a retail title. However, it's a Kinect exclusive for the time being, as far as motion sensing controls go, although Mizuguchi is looking into the possibility of implementing Move support as well.
