Ok, so we've had a good two weeks with Mega Man ZX and Dragon Quest Heroes: Slimes (rule!).

Those were pretty much the first big releases of the fall for the little handheld, now as we head into October, what other big titles are on the way? I tend to forget about some of the more obscure stuff, and the next thing that's currently on my mind is Castlevania which comes in November.

EDIT: And I'm mainly talking about the US here.

Contact and Magical Starsign for sure. Scurge Hive looks promising, and there's also Touch Detective. The month ends with Children of Mana and Pokemon Ranger.

I was once hyped by Children of Mana, but I heard it was underwhelming and pretty much a dungeon crawler (ie. nothing like the SNES Secret of Mana, or the un-localized Seiken Densetsu 3). Not as bad as Sword of Mana, but nothing that good either.

Haven't heard much about Magical Starsign though.

Heh, the bad EGM ratings for Touch Detective (someone called it "perverse") actually have me interested in that game though.

Mage Knight: Destiny's Solider.

Came out this week. While the release date had been known for quite a while, it has gotten pretty much zero press. No previews anywhere, just a handful of screenshots.

Anyway, don't have it yet, but is one of the reasons I got a DS (well, strategy games in general). It's apparently pretty much a straight conversion of the Mage Knight tabletop game. Which is a fantasy wargame.

My DS has been owning me lately with Rocket Slime (RAWK) and Mario Hoops (screw the reviews). I've barely played Starfox Command... kinda boring. I'm looking forward to Children of Mana, but not as a Mana game... is it good as a dungeon crawler?

I played the Download Demo of Darts and that was very good fun.

Magical Starsign is a decent game. I suppose it is a plus for people who enjoy challenging RPGs, the secret dungeon is about as tough as it gets.

Well, he did say what's the next good game coming out, and MvDK2 is already out.


Anyway...
For the month of October, Clubhouse Games, Magical Starsign, and apparently Pokemon Ranger is good, which I'm not inclined to doubt since it's by HAL.
For November, Elite Beat Agents, Yoshi's Island 2, and Final Fantasy III--pretty diverse lineup there.
In December, Kirby Squeak Squad and Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin for a double dose of sidescrolling goodness.
Of these all, I expect YI2, KSS, and CVPoR to be the best by far, personally. I could see someone making a case for Clubhouse Games as a matter of sheer addictiveness and universal appeal, though.

Is this a european release? I can't find any info on it. Also, whats the deal with the Nintendo's MP3 player and the DS browser? PlayAsia has the european version listed as coming out in the next few weeks, and they've been out in Japan for ages.

Think of it like a super-cute, whacked out version Trace Memory. It's a 3rd person point and click (I guess it's more point and touch) adventure game where you solve mysteries.
