It actually is polished. It is just short. Which is a problem if you want to sell the game for 45. I cannot complain about the game design though, it is fun and the fire / ice mechanic is a really good idea to make the platforming more challenging while keeping the game accessible. It is my favourite Sanzaru game.
Regarding comparisons to classic Sonic: It certainly is closer to them than the Dimps and Sonic Team games as of late, because it is slower and has exploration elements. Nevertheless, since I love the boost gameplay introduced by Dimps, I look forward to more Sonic Team and Dimps Sonic games.
