I had no intention of getting it on PC anyway (and the framerate doesn't bother me too much), but that's still pretty damn harsh.

The budget price lessens the blow somewhat but of course it still sucks. I'll be using the PC version for local and splitscreen play (probably the majority of my game time) and the 360 version for online play. Not ideal, but what are you gonna do. If I'm honest splitscreen is a bigger deal to me than online.

I'm really not surprised at the PC version lacking online, Ghostbusters did the exact same thing and both games are/were a budget price at launch.

This is a game born for SEGA fanservice and it already fails enough (only 4-5 IP for all the tracks in the game instead of using Shenmue, Phantasy Star, etc.)

EDIT: Playing now!! New Billy Hatcher Track and play as Eggman!!
Slightly smoother framerate!!
The framerate tends to jump a bit. It's definitely higher than the 360 version, but if you're in first , or you're the only racer the camera sees, it can jump to almost 60 fps.
I'm doing a 360/PS3 comparison video. I'll upload it to youtube soon.
