Any write-ups anywhere on the basics of the system for this game? Never got into anything past just defends or whatever forward or back and guard is. Saw that quick-stop is direction twice and hold.

The game speed looks slower than past SC games.
Is it actually a little slower, or does it only look that way?
CAC mode looks awesome, but I'm still not super amped to get this. When the price drops - muscle chicks all around!

Preferring one fighting game over another is one thing. Trashing a quality series that you personally dislike is quite another. Anyone with half a clue about competitive fighting games knows that Tekken could never be described as a "shitty 2D fighter." I hope you were just trolling, because wow.

You don't lose everything now. Still kinda fuzzy on what you lose and what you don't though, because it looks like full dresses still get blown up. Not that I should be surprised. In general though the pants and skirts stay on this time, and I think a lot of the shirts.

I haven't played 2 in a long time, but atleast watching the IPW stream last night made the game look a lot faster over 4 to me.
When they choose their created character, a Maxi art appears behind it ... meaning it has the Maxi style ...
...i wonders what happens when you choose a style like Devil Jin that don't have a character ... what art appears ?

My guess is it will either be art for Devil Jin himself or the "Harada" character they created.

Move speed is roughly the same as IV. Movement speed is faster than IV, but slower than II. Recovery frames on block are better than any game since I. So the end result is a game that gets *played* at a much quicker pace overall than most of the games, IMO.The game speed looks slower than past SC games.
