Saw it last night, it was pretty funny. Cart man loving the social distance stuff was spot on. So many are acting like him right now.
The Trump stuff was hamfisted and dumb but whatever. They have always had a few blind spots. Kind of sad if they end up just parroting the mainstream narrative but what can you say?

The weird thing for me was that while it was funny it was also really so sad - it made me think of all we’ve lost, the little freedoms we enjoyed, how it’s probably all gone forever now. It’s hard to take the world changing in such a shitty way over a few months like a slow motion car crash. A year ago none of us knew this was coming and now everything’s fucked.

The worst to me is seeing ads for masks. Its a cruel reminder that we live in a different world now. Always gives me a tinge of nostalgia for before the mask times.

Today I was walking through town and saw a mask vending machine. I mean I was ahead of the curve on masks and made my own back in April I think, but still, it's just a reminder that shit is fucked. Honestly at times it's hard to keep my head straight in all this shit - stupid really when I have it far better than most, but I do find myself mourning a world lost.
